This spot is smaller than I expected: there are only about 10 seats inside, and 6 outside, so it fills up fast. But the staff was super friendly; smiling, answering questions, getting food made quickly.
The hot dogs are large 1/4 lb size, and quite good for a hot dog. The root beer and cream soda are on tap. I had the root beer, and while it wasn't the best ever, it was still better than regular "fountain drinks" or plastic bottles. The large pretzel covered in cinnamon sugar needed a bit more butter. I really wish I could have dairy: the butter beer sounded delicious, but has heavy cream in it.
We ate outside, and on a beautiful sunny day with music oldies music playing and people passing by, it was just fun! This little soda shop is perched right on a corner next to the movie theater, on the "mainstreet" of downtown Casper, so there's plenty of of sights and people to watch, along with the random nostalgic decor inside, including what look like tiny carousel...
Read moreI had a pleasant time with My fiance here until this weird looking, smelly, and obnoxious guy with a cheap cowboy hat and dirty clothes walked in with his even more obnoxious mother or aunt or something. This place is most definitely what's up!! 5...

Their soda doesn't come from a bottle, (like other places in town) it's on tap. They have a variety of old time candies and so many flavors of honey sticks. They also serve lunch including a favorite of mine, fish-n-chips. The guys in there are always friendly, inviting, funny, helpful and knowledgeable. If you love Italian cream soda's this is the place to go! Oh and they always have fresh baked...
