As good as the service was, the food easily derailed this place. Very bland enchiladas and the meats, shredded beef and chicken, were unseasoned as if Chilli powder and cumin were enough. The gravy for the enchiladas was unflavored and had no good hint of cooked from beef juices with anchos, tomato paste, salt and pepper as what could have been a good enchilada gravy. The meat for the pastor tacos were very bland and lacked many a spice other than cumin and chilli powder. This place needs to also learn that the microwave cooks food differently with an aftertaste that makes food have an aftertaste that is cooked into the food from the dish its microwaved in. This place massively needs to revise it's concept of flavors. The chips and queso and salsa was the only flavor I found here. Good luck...

They make strong drinks, so there's that... Salsa was runny and tasteless. I have eaten at every mexican restaurant in town. all of them are a disappointment except for one. There is a 24 hour Mexican food place on the west side of town. Pancho's is the name of it! it's set up like a fast food place but their food is great and it's fresh food! But for this restaurant Don Juan I would give it a hard pass. Step it up Don Juan your falling behind and letting a fast food joint pass you up. If this is the best you can do then you should go ahead and close your doors now. I will not eat at this establishment again unless you all make some serious...

Food was great, service was non-existent, as least for me dining by myself. The one time the server stopped by my table after my food was delivered (by someone else), she took off before I could say anything because I had a mouth full of food. I wasn't even half way through my meal when I ran out of ice tea, but the server just slapped the ticket on my table as she walked by without even asking if I needed anything. If she would have taken a moment, I would have not just asked for a drink refill but I would have ordered dessert as well. Her behavior cost her most of her tip.
