I was so hopeful this place would be good considering the previous reviews i read…I was sadly unimpressed today. We stopped in for a late lunch, around 2pm. The place was not busy, only one large group and a couple other tables with 1-2 people. We ordered our food and my Mom asked the waitress to bring the jalapeño poppers with her meal as it was not an app but she wanted them with the wings that she ordered. We ordered one kids Mac and cheese with cut up hot dogs for my young son and I ordered the triple combination plate with pork tamales, chicken enchilada and cheese Chili Relleno. The wait for food was a bit long considering the lack of people in the place but finally we saw food coming our way. The only food brought was my young sons meal, witch was just plain elbow noodles with some wrinkled up cut hot dogs and some shredded cheese melted on top and the jalapeño poppers. Even though we had asked for them to come out with the meal…We didn’t make an issue out of it and my mom just ate them while we continued to wait for the rest of our dishes. We waited almost another 20 minutes before the waitress came back to the table to inform us they were out of wings…So she chose another dish, Street tacos. We again waited another 15-20 minutes for the rest of our food to arrive. By now my son had finished his meal and just had to sit while we waited for the rest of our food. It finally came and while the plates were warm, the food was not. I ate about a 1/4 of my enchilada and tamale and I could not eat the chili relleno because when I cut into it I noticed the cheese inside was not melted at all…literally cold shredded cheese inside. I asked the waitress to remove it from our bill as it was not edible. She said ok and then walked away. We sat for a while and then asked for boxes to take the rest of my enchiladas and tamale home with the rice and beans. She said ok then went on to bus a few tables while we continued to wait. She finally came back and brought boxes and we asked for the check. When the check finally came I noticed she didn’t remove the chili relleno from the bill and the price for the small quac was $1 more than the menu showed. She did only charge my mom for the wings she ordered that they didn’t have instead of the higher priced tacos she ended up getting. But the rest of the bill was not correct. I decided I had been there waiting long enough and was ready to just leave so I paid the bill as it was and we left. I will not be back. It’s unfortunate because it’s a cute place and I really wanted to like it.

I consider myself to be a fair reviewer so in the name of fairness I must state that the food is excellent, the environment is nice, and the servers are friendly. My father and I go out weekly, usually go to get gas and do lunch. Pop wanted to go to Willie's Pinchos in Orlando but found they were closed so I suggested Poblanos. I'd eaten here previously with a former boss, and enjoyed it so I'd suggested to Pop to check em out. We get there and are immediately seated, and the server brought our drinks and took our order. I ordered the Speedy Gonzales which was pretty good. And Pop ordered the Scrambled Eggs and Chorizo. We get our food and after only a few bites I see my dad grab his mouth and pulled out what looked like a huge sliver of onion. I've never known my dad to object to onion so I asked of he was alright. That's when he told me he found a piece of a dinner plate in his food. He was understandably upset and asked to speak to a manager about comping his food. A few moments later another server came over (not the manager) and offered to replace the food and confirmed the order. We finish eating and my father is presented the bill, it was for just my food and drink. He gave the server his card and she went to the POS to pay it out. Moments later she comes back with the original ticket saying she'd need to pay the difference, and that the POS system added the food back that was taken off. The server did agree to pay the difference, but that wasn't the point. I've worked in food and know how POS systems work and once food is removed and a check is printed the "system" won't automatically add things that were taken off back on. And we all agreed that the server just delivered the plate, if anyone should be paying the difference, rather than the business taking a small loss it should have been the cook who plated glass. At any rate I won't be returning. What should have been a simple comp and carry on turned into a 20 minute ordeal after we were eating, and to me that is just not acceptable. I will not be returning, or recommending to friends.
