Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Castle Hayne

So delicious! First time here!!! After seeing commercials I had to try it. It is on my way home from work. After a 12 hour day I was exhausted. I asked the kind man at the drive through to give me his favorite. He said the tenders. They were delicious! So moist and it came with hushpuppies, potatoes salad, and drink. The lady at the check out in drive through was precious too. It was Friday around 3:00 on August 19, 2022. I wish I remembered their names. Awesome customer service and food. I will most definitely be a regular after work. Please find out who they were. Give them praise for me. Because of them I will be back.

I recommend anybody who wants to try any of the state’s food to come and visit here. I tried one of their sauces called Red with their chicken and I recommend anyone to try it. It’s very savory, not so spicy but you won’t get a hot breath by trying it. They sell bottles of their vinegar base and Red right next to the cashier counter which serves as an attraction. One thing I may want to point out is that if you would ever had a takeout order of chicken tenders to take home with you, and you have left overs. The next day when you reheat that chicken it doesn’t come out greasy like other fast food joints do, it comes out dry which is pretty good quality. Their chain restaurant is spread north from Wilmington. I do enjoy their new layout of their restaurant in this location. Not only is it appealing but it shows some of the old movie...

Absolutely the BEST! The staff & food here is always great. We moved out of state 14 months ago. There are no SCNB's no where near us. We took the opportunity to stop in tonight since we were semi near here. As usual, it was great. Even the manager heard our little story and came out, spoke with us, really showed us how important good customers were to them. I told him that over the years, I had spoken with the owner a few times & would gladly with the chance, personally convey what a pleasure it was seeing that even though there are some new faces, the level of customer service is as always the best around.
