Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Castle Rock

If I could give 0, I would. We waited over 30 minutes before we canceled our eat in order. Others were waiting 40 to 50 minutes. As they were trying to refund our purchase, a cook said my half my order was among 9 sandwiches sitting on the counter. It was only half my order of 2 sandwiches. The cashier had no idea what any of the sandwiches stacked up were. I also noted that the last sandwich added was over 10 minutes previously. So even if it was mine, my hot sandwich would now be cold. The entire 30 mins I was there, I only heard 1 person g we t their order. The cashier, right after taking our order, went to the bathroom. She walked outside on her phone and proceeded to pace and talk on the phone for 10-15 minutes! All the while customers who came in before us were waiting on their orders, while 9 sandwiches sat on a side counter. These were not takeout orders or deliveries. They were for customers sitting waiting. It was not busy, maybe 10 customers and several of those who were there before had to leave because they were on a lunch break! The cashier claimed they were short staffed (2 cooks) and she never once helped them or announced the orders were up! I qlcant comment on the food because we never got ours! This place is a joke and should have just shut down! We might try another caprottis shop in the future but I won't go back to this one! Management is...

Second time coming to capriottis but first time at the Castle Rock location. This was incredibly disappointing seeing as my first time eating at Capriottis was so good! This location missed the mark on every level. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak and it had zero flavor. There was no cheese, no mayo or any kind of sauce, and the chicken was flavorless. The only flavor came from the hot peopers which I got light. It was covered in oil and when I unwrapped it, some of chicken fell out I had to get a fork to scoop it back in. The bread was soaked with the oil from cooking the chicken. It was just disgusting and I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Then While my wife was ordering the young woman taking our order was rushing her. She was unpleasant and you could tell we were completely bothering her by asking her to do her job to take our order. Not to mention she was literally wearing pajamas. The other thing was after taking our order she took out her chapstick and dug her finger into, then wiped it on her lips. She did not go and wash her hands after doing so. We will definitely not be back at this location and maybe not even the other locations with how terrible my cheesesteak was and my wife’s seasonless meatball sub was. Super...

Does the world really need another "we're slightly better than Subway" sandwich entrant?

Damn my cynical heart, it turns out it does. Got a Bobbie — the "Thanksgiving is today" sub with turkey, stuffing, mayo and cranberry sauce — and loved it.

There was enough sandwich left over to use as a weapon when some open-carry dingus with a blood sugar issue waiting in the mile-long In-N-Out drive thru line got mouthy with me on my walk back to the retention pond where I am currently staying.

That sub had a beautiful balance and heft to it, as he discovered when I touched up his chin a bit. Everybody's a tactical YouTube hero until the dude with the sandwich and nothing to lose gets right up on you.
