I personally haven't been to this location, but I am reviewing on behalf of my son after just finding out about an experience he had today (11/6).
My son came in around 12:30 with a small group. He did have his own food, but others in the party did give Culver's their business. He agreed to eat outside and the elderly worker, Patty, initially didn't disagree; however, she later went out of her way to approach my son outside after he'd asked for a fork. The entire time, she was very rude to the entire party, namely my son.
When Patty was advised she was discriminating against the disabled, she stated she didn't care, and, unfortunately, many of the other workers present were just as dismissive - except for one young worker who was apologetic on behalf of the company (unfortunately, they don't recall his name). This behavior completely conflicts with the promise listed on Culver's website "We genuinely care, so that every guest who chooses Culver’s leaves happy”.
It makes me wonder if this worker would treat a child this way in the same situation. Also, how would she feel if she or a family member were treated so disrespectfully based on a disability or their age? ADA is protected by law, and not all disabilities are visible!
In addition to the aforementioned occurrence, the wait for food for the rest of the party was more than 30 minutes. They immediately left to eat at the gas station because of the extremely rude service and upsetting experience, only to find that the shrimp wasn't fully cooked.
I believe this incident was reported on the Culver's website earlier today by a staff member with the group, but I wanted to ensure that it is also addressed here. I highly recommend training of your staff on how to interact with disabled...
Read moreWhat an absolute waste of time and money! Went to get dinner out and somehow they never managed to bring the custard. Okay, no problem, well grab it on the way out. Handed our receipt to a server and asked for the custard we paid for 20 minutes earlier. He took off with our receipt. 5 minutes later, we spotted that same server and asked about the missing custard. NOW, it was our receipt that was missing! Asked for the manager. Mariah came in to save the day! Oops, now she disappeared, too! We track her down, only to have her tell us that Greg, the owner, is present, perhaps we'd like to speak to him. Super. Mind you, after 3 servers, the manager, AND the owner are aware, still NOBODY considers resolving the situation by actually PRODUCING THE CUSTARD WE OREDERED. Greg, the owner, NEVER actually shows enough concern to even address us, just hides away behind the grill like a coward. We never got the custard that WE PAID FOR and ended leaving in disgust and outrage. Save your time and money before going to this joke. With so many nearby options, and even nearby Culvers, there is no reason to even bother with this ripoff dump! There is literally NO custard worth tolerating this level of incompetence and apathy, particularly when the apathy comes all the way down from the owner. I hope this fast food ripoff circles the drain quickly to make room for a decent restaurant to...
Read moreMy friends and I (M17) wanted to start off our day the right way.. with custard! Pulling up to the drive-through with our 17 scoop tokens in hand, we were ecstatic to munch. We are loyal customers and were so excited to spend our tokens we had been saving up. We ordered 4 custards and 1 kids meal. Keep in mind, we didn’t know the difference between the scoop tokens and the other tokens because it had never been a problem before this moment. The lady(Sharla? We couldn’t see her name-tag clearly) counted all of our tokens and said that she wouldn't accept our tokens for the kids meal(10 tokens) but would accept it for the custard.. we had handed her 14 tokens. She then proceeded to hand us the WRONG FLAVORS, when we tried to be nice and correct her to see if we could possibly get our original flavors added into our custard, she told us that we were wrong and that there was nothing she could do about it. We have never had problems like this before when using our tokens at this location, and it was shocking how disrespectful and disappointed the experience became. It might be a problem with their new management or something but we honestly have no idea. You just lost...
