The worst experience at the Castle Rock Mad Greens. Just arrived from Miami and my daughter asked for Mad Greens as we landed. Our bill came to $29 and change so we handed the cashier a $50 bill. She refused to take it and after we asked why she said it's posted here (she pointed to a sign that said Do Not take $100 bills). When we said it said $100 not $50 she said that they don't take $50 either. I said maybe you should change it on the sign. (No response) We asked to speak to the manager. The cashier said "They want you" to the person next to her. The manager rolled her eyes and ignored us. I said this is unacceptable and said I need to talk to the franchisee. All 5 employees ignored me so I stayed at the Cashier (while my daughter paid for everything and went to sit down). After a few minutes a different employee asked what do I need and I said I would like the phone number to the franchisee. With a bad attitude called over another employee who nicely said they are ran by corporate. I asked for corporate contact and she politely gave it to me and said she doesn't have a name. I said thank you, no problem I will give them a call. My complaint is how everyone mis handled the conversation. It was not busy at the moment and customer service with smiles would have been nice. The food is great and is why my daughter wanted to eat here. Unfortunately, while eating we kept getting glares and made my daughter...
Read moreMy husband loves their grain bowls. Unfortunately I have not found anything on their menu I love and after this last experience I have to stop trying to get food from here. I ordered delivery from the location in castle rock colorado on Allan way and got the Panama salad. It contains apples, feta cheese, pecans, mixed greens and they recomend it with a molasses dressing. I removed the pecans as I have a tree nut allergy and tend to avoid any nuts in my food out of caution. After waiting an hour for my food I was excited to eat only to find that they had made my salad incorrectly. The salad I recieved contained apples, mixed greens, the correct dressing, Crazens, pairs, feta cheese and walnuts. I am very dealthy allergic to tree nuts which includes walnuts so my food is inedible for me now. When calling to inform the management of this mistake they tried to refund me 25% of the salad. The salad cost me $10 and was completely inedible and refunding 25% or $2.50 of my order was an unacceptable way to remedy this issue. I'm only glad that I saw the walnuts in the salad before this became a trip to the emergency room and costs me thousands. This place clearly does not know how to handle allergies and their staff including management clearly need to be trained on food contamination and food safety. I will not be eating here anymore and I will recommend to everyone I know to not eat...
