I loved the Dickey’s where I used to live. I really wanted to like this one too, but I just can’t anymore. I’ve tried this one for takeout a few times and there’s been problems with the order multiple times. I know stuff happens sometimes, and they did get the order right sometimes, so I still order from them sometimes. However, I think I’m done. This time, they got the meal mostly correct but I ordered a cornbread muffin in lieu of a roll and another cornbread muffin. So I should have had 2 muffins. Instead, I literally received what appears to be chunks of burnt cornbread crust scraped off the bottom of a pan and shoved in the container. I ordered at 6pm and they’re open until 9pm, so it’s not like I was ordering at an unreasonable time right before closing. And I know it’s just cornbread, but I love cornbread and not a lot of places seem to offer it anymore. So the disappointment tonight was high. Hopefully everyone else has a better experience than I’ve been having. I can’t count on my order being correct at this location, so I won’t be doing it again.
Updated about 5 minutes later: AND I just found a freaking hair in the Mac n cheese. Awesome. :(
Updated again several months later. I stupidly decided to give it another try because my visiting friend wanted BBQ tonight. It still sucks. I don’t know if this is a Dickey’s issue or a DoorDash ordering system issue but my order was wrong again. I ordered a giant potato and selected my toppings: cheese, extra cheese, bacon, extra bacon, and butter. The extra cheese and bacon cost an extra $1. I purposely didn’t select sour cream because I hate it. I received a potato with NO bacon, very little cheese, an insanely large amount of chives and a bunch of sour cream. If I’m paying $10 for a freaking potato, it should be correct! I don’t understand why it is SO DIFFICULT for this location to get their orders correct!! Read moreI gave them 2 stars because despite the fact that their food is pretty good they are seemingly incapable of getting the orders correct when ordering through a delivery service. I doordash food everyday for my last meal and I love smoked/BBQ food but unfortunately this place is the only BBQ place within range of my house to be able to doordash it. I can honestly say that I have doordashed Dickeys food to my house no less than 17 times in the past 3 months and they seriously, honest to God have not once gotten a single order 100% correct. And my orders are always super simple. I'm never ordering more than 2 meals at a time and have never sent in a confusing, modified order but yet they always mess my orders up some way, some how. I worked in restaurants for 12 years of my life and so when I say that I just really can't comprehend how it's possible to screw up such a simple task, I am speaking as someone who has done your job for years. I'm honestly impressed at this point by how consistently this place messes up. I don't think I could suck at my job this much if I tried. So they're definitely the best at something for sure. No other restaurant in existence could possibly mess up their orders this consistently. It really is impressive at this point to where I just find it funny and always plan on getting an order missing something. But as funny as they're inability to properly execute such an easy and simple task is, I can without a doubt say that I promise to anybody reading this as well to myself that as soon as a different BBQ restaurant opens up near me that I will never order here again. Even if this new and hypothetical BBQ places food is subpar, it still wouldn't persuade me to go back to ordering Dickeys ever again. I'm so embarrassed for this place. Some people just have no self respect. And ppl like that are clearly working in the carside dept at this Dickeys location.

Read moreThis review is more for the owner/s, I have been coming to this location for 6-7 years. I would say in the past year or so the quality of this place has gone down quite a bit. The past couple times I have come, I have paid for overpriced dry meat, this past time I have came in I got a giant baker with meat, the potato was hard so I told them and they generously gave me a new one, unfortunately that was hard too, the brisket was very overcooked and so was my chicken, it was dry and hard to eat. Looking around I see they are using the lobby as storage for their catering, the windows are dirty and the back wall looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The past couple times I have been in the ice cream machine was out of order. I’m not trying to be a Karen, as someone who runs their own business I would like to be told when I am not meeting expectations. As I am writing this in the lobby, a gentleman is ordering some sort of brisket with no fat, the gentleman cutting it is giving him more meat but with fat in it, after the gentleman ordering leaves, the gentleman cutting the meat is loudly complaining to his coworker on how the customer is “in the wrong”.
