There’s something special about walking into a place and instantly feeling welcomed—not just by the inviting atmosphere or the smell of fresh espresso, but by the people. That was exactly my experience at this Starbucks location, and I have to say, it’s all thanks to Gavin.
From the moment I walked in, Gavin’s energy and attention to detail stood out. He greeted me with a genuine smile, offered thoughtful recommendations, and created a vibe that made the whole store feel more like a neighborhood café than a national chain. It’s not every day you meet someone who clearly enjoys what they do and brings that positivity to every customer interaction. Honestly, Gavin is the reason I’ll be coming back to this Starbucks again and again.
Now, let’s talk about the drink and food—because wow. I ordered the brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso with sweet cold foam on top, and it was absolutely next-level. The brown sugar added a rich, cozy depth to the espresso, perfectly balanced by the creaminess of the oatmilk. The cold foam added that smooth, sweet layer on top that made every sip feel like a little indulgence. It wasn’t overly sweet, either—it had just the right amount of flavor to elevate the espresso without overpowering it. It’s one of those drinks where you take the first sip and just stop for a second because it’s that good.
To go with it, I grabbed a slice of the lemon loaf cake—and let me just say, I now understand the hype. Moist, buttery, and bursting with that perfect sweet citrus flavor, the lemon cake was a total win. It paired beautifully with the espresso, giving me that ideal mid-morning pick-me-up without feeling heavy or overly sugary. It’s the kind of snack that feels comforting, like something homemade but just a little more refined.
The store itself was clean, well-stocked, and had a nice buzz of productivity mixed with relaxed conversation. The music was at the right volume—enough to enjoy but not too loud to distract. I saw a mix of people working on laptops, friends catching up, and folks like me just taking a break. The environment felt curated but not forced—like a place that understands how to balance hustle and ease.
But again, the highlight was Gavin. He took what would’ve been a great visit and made it exceptional. His knowledge, his customer service, and just the way he talked about the drinks showed he really knows his stuff—and actually cares. You can’t train that kind of enthusiasm. It’s rare, and it makes all the difference.
If you’re debating where to grab your next coffee, stop here. Between the incredible shaken espresso, that unforgettable lemon cake, and service that goes above and beyond, this Starbucks location is setting the standard. Ask for Gavin—you’ll...
Read moreI come to this Starbucks nearly every morning and usually it’s great but this morning made me so upset that I’m writing a review.. which I typically wouldn’t waste my time on. They were overwhelmed with DoorDash orders but I believe the customers in store should be priority!! I watched the red headed barista make my drink and she didn’t put a triple shot in it - so when she handed it to me I asked, ‘is my triple shot in there?’ And she bare face lied to me and said yes when the drink was white as could be. I wasn’t going to contest her in the middle of a busy store - how awkward? So now I’m drinking iced almond milk with cold foam and syrup for a wopping $10 I tried calling the store directly and they literally picked up the phone and hung...
