Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Cathedral City

Went through the drive through. It was the worst time and makes us not want to go back. We spent quite a bit of money for this meal plus we were on the road The kid who helped us name is Jason It was around 4:30 pm on a tuesday night and he was not too smart asking what color of soda my brother wanted "who says that" My brother stated no ice we got ice gave it back that was the dr pepper of mine and we didn't get my moms pop ( coke) and he tried to tell us he gave it to us which he didn't then he has the manager Angel come to the window. The kid (Jason) tells my brother they don't have diet in the flavor he wants only zero. My brother told him it was basically the same thing in the grape my brother was asking for. Manager Angel was not much better we asked for a receipt and he said the printer was not working. We had to have him get my moms coke. When we asked for extra sauce for teriyaki bowls and egg rolls sauce he only gave us 2 when asked for again they gave bbq sauce we purchased teriyaki bowls. We ended up with 6 sweet and sour and 2 teriyaki. We were not asking for them to move heaven and earth just to help us since we were at the window. The kid hushed my brother to take another order. When we got to where we were going to eat we found out we got one fork for 3 meals. Had to find others just to eat. All we really wanted was for this kid to pay attention to who he was helping first that really should not have been too difficult yet they want $20.00 an hour? Being hushed really bothered me and I will go out of my way to eat somewhere...

I haven't eaten at Jack in the Box for over a decade. My youngest sister let me know that they still served the Ultimate Cheese burger, which was my favorite, back in the day. So, I decided to order it along with the curly fries as a substitute for the regular fries a lemonade w/no ice. The burger looked like the size of a burger from a kids happy meal. The patties looked like one patty carefully cut in 1/2. The curly fries were cold and dry, like they were sitting from a previous order that may have been canceled. My family ordered curly fries as a substitute for French fries as well, yet they only received the regular french fries and was told it would be an extra charge. My curly fries was a combination of curly fries, french fries and a couple of waffle fries as well. Needless to say, This was a choice because it was close to the freeway and we were hungry. and needed some nourishment before we got back on the road to Arizona for my niece's graduation. Drive thru woman was one of the worst fast food associates I've ever come across, if you dont have enough associates, just close the store. don't take it out on the customers. short story, i went at around 8pm and the place was a ghost town, pulled up to the drive through only to be greeted by said lady who told me she was having "technical difficulties with the soda machine" asked me to "come back"... i was seriously confused and had no idea what she was asking or telling me, i haven't even uttered a word or made an order yet. i just stood there in my car at disbelief until she once again said "came you come back please".... one of the trippiest experiences ever 🤣🤣. next time just close the restaurant, don't hide in the kitchen and make things up so you don't have to work.
