The Patio Place — Local services in Palm Desert

Historically, I have loved this store and their policies, products, and people. I have purchased patio umbrellas at The Patio Place more than once. Two days ago, I went to purchase another and on the way in, a couple was leaving and said to me “Don’t go in there, they are a terrible company. They blamed my problem with my umbrella on my misuse. I will never go back!” With my good past experiences, I went in and found an umbrella and was assured it was the same as I had purchased before. When I got it home, it was 7” longer than my other Patio Place umbrellas so I called the store and was told all sales are final and zero returns. I had not even opened it.
