I usually like coming here, but today was not very enjoyable. It was made difficult to place an order. If I hadn't already promised my co-workers I was picking up Chick-fil-A I would have just left because I was very discouraged to order. First, I was unable to place an online order. I'm not sure if that was due to it being temporarily shut off or an issue with the app on their side, because I could order to other locations just not theirs. I read that sometimes it can be temporarily shut off during peak times due to high amount of orders, but I don't see how that could be the case as there was only 2 other cars in the drive-thru and a few people inside at 8:30am. That was disappointing though, as I could not redeem any rewards for my order. I decided to just place an order in the drive-thru. I pull up to the speaker after 2 other cars before me and they greet me and tell me to go ahead with my order. I give out my order and hear no response. I wait a couple of minutes and ask "hello?". After a couple of minutes of silence and asking hello a few times, they tell me to go ahead with my order when I'm ready. I proceed to ask them if they could not hear me as I just told them my order. No response. I just left the drive-thru at that point. I'm very certain this was not due to a technical issue with the mic as the 2 other cars ahead of me had placed their orders and received them in the drive-thru and I saw more do the same when I went inside, so it just seems it was either a team coordination issue or just incompetence. I was really fed up at this point. Thank goodness the nice cashier inisde at the counter was helpful. He was the only reason the experience wasn't completely horrid or the trip wasted and the only reason I left 2 stars instead of 1. I have been going to Chick-fil-A's since I was little and I have never seen this happen ever, so I know this is NOT to standard at all. They should look into fixing this, because if this continues I won't be coming back anymore as I'm sure others customers that experience this...
Read moreI was excited to try their food. And was disappointed. My daughter said I'm crazy she loved it. She got a plain chicken sandwich. But I got the deluxe chicken sandwich. The lettuce was not green and crispy. Had a Lil black on it like it was dying. The tomato was also dead looking. So I took that off. I was left with a decent piece of chicken. It was good but not like omg amazing i need to come back. Wasn't crunchy like I was thinking it was going to be. 2 pieces of regular bread, nothing special. And a slice of cheese. I tried dipping it in the chickfilet sauce and had to spit it out. So gross to me. Ill stick to the ranch. The Mac and cheese was my fav. Had an extra layer of cheese. Seemed homemade to me anyway. The waffle fries were the worst they smelt like fish. I'm sure they cooked it in the same oil they cook their fish in. Do they even have fish there? It was gross. The ranch was in packets. I was hoping for ranch like at wing stop. I'll be going there instead. 10x better. Unless I just want to eat 1 piece of chicken and side Mac and cheese. I won't be getting a Chick filet sandwhich ever again. The blue Gatorade was delicious 😂 anyway. That's my Gordon Ramsey complaint. Maybe there is another chicken filet location that's better. Read moreI want you to know I have very much been looking forward to you opening an establishment in my local area. When it came to my attention you were opening one, I was greatly excited. I’ve visited many of your restaurants throughout the state of California and have always been pleased by the quality of your food and service. A friend of mine introduced me to your app and I was amazed at how user friendly and convenient was. I visited your store in Rancho Mirage on Monterey and Dinah Shore Sept. 1st at 1:30 in the afternoon. I downloaded your app on my phone 10 minutes prior to arriving so I could experience the convenience and ease of use that I witnessed from my friend in the past. Arriving at the store to my surprise I discovered I was going to wait in the drive thru line that I figured wouldn’t be a big deal until I sat motionless for almost 10 minutes with no way to exit the line and proceed with my day. I would of gladly walked away from my $11 order to not be trapped 30 minutes in a drive thru line.
