Janey's has been my favorite place since first coming to Arizona over 9 years ago. It's an industrial cool combined with a cozy feel of being home. The outdoor space makes you feel like you're in a desert sanctuary with music serenading you daily. Julian, the owner, is so warm and inviting, and has put together a group of eclectic people who love working together and being a part of such a great vibe. The breakfast burritos are amazing and my mom loves the loaded oatmeal. I especially appreciate the fresh fruit they include with breakfast. It's a feel good experience to start my day there. Not only does the coffee and food taste good, but I've also been impressed with the selection of quality food and drinks. They get some of the best and most unique and hard to find beer out there. I am wheat sensitive, and was shocked to see that they carry Holidaily beer. I've been to that brewery in Golden, CO and it is an amazing product that not only tastes delicious, but has quality ingredients and a great story of a cancer survivor who didn't want to give up good beer. Even if you aren't gluten free, the beer is just delicious. I was also impressed that the gluten free pizza offered is on Schar crust. That's the highest quality gluten free producer, created and developed in Italy, but finally becoming well known in the U.S. Again, you don't have to be gluten free to appreciate the taste of this product. Thank you so much for caring to offer the best of what's out there for those of us who often have to give up beer and pizza. I can't wait to spend more days on your patio, making new friends, enjoying great music, and supporting a company that cares about the quality of what they are serving and who is serving it. Coffee shop, bar, entertainment venue

Janey's Coffeehouse and Bodega had been a staple in the heart of Downtown Cave Creek since 2010. It offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and live entertainment every night (check the events calendar on the website). Friday and Saturday evening shows usually have a $5-15 cover.

We met up with friends on a Friday night to listen to the beautiful vocals by husband and wife led band called The Sugar Thieves. It's first come, first served with tables and chairs all over the outside patio. With a popular band, it filled up quickly, but it made it fun as we had other groups join at our table and added to a great night of friendly chatting. It was a cooler night, but the portable heaters and dancing kept everyone warm.

The menu is small, but there are a couple each of: sandwiches, soup, salads, pizza, and boards. We had a table of eight happily munching on the veggie board (veggies, pretzel, cheese, and hummus), the sausage board (meats, cheeses, pretzels) and chips and salsa. Ordering is quick service style at the bar inside.

I've also enjoyed Janey's solo on a morning off work. I relaxed on a patio sofa with my book, their breakfast sandwich, and a coffee. Janey's is a cool local spot to meet up with friends or bring out-of-towners to experience life...
