This is the second time I've eaten ramen here and while the food was not bad it was not amazing or great a lot of the ingredients are not hot(it was almost ice cold) In my experience with Ramen usually the broth is very hot so when you put it on any cold ingredients it all balances out. One of the big pet peeves I have is the egg they give you is a whole egg they don't cut it in half which makes it quite a bit easier to eat Plus I personally find the broth with the yolk interaction a tasty experience I got fried tofu as well while eating it taste wise wasn't bad it was pretty much the option of gnawing at it or stuffing it in my mouth one of the problems is they don't set any knives on the table( they do have forks and spoons) so you can cut said egg or tofu(I've never tried fried tofu before but I don't think it's supposed to be just short of shoe leather in toughness) to eat easier. again nothing tastes bad but having barely warm broth and cold ingredients for the most part is not exactly something to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered the beef pho and I should have taken a picture, but I regrettably did not. I don't know what kind of beef they used, but it did not look like the picture posted on the website. It was dark and almost gray, chewy...tasted like sandpaper. Horrid. Lots of noodles to meat ratio. My husband had another dish that was extremely greasy and flavorless. He used my hoison to try to help it. There was like an inch of grease on top.
We have eaten here before and it was good, so I was really disappointed with the quality this time. I wouldn't normally get pho at a non Vietnamese restaurant and I will stick with that decision in the future.
I really want to like this place as its close to my house and the prices are good, but last night's meal was a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am so excited to have a new ramen place in Cave Spring! I went here the day after I heard about it and they did not disappoint. I got the tonkatsu ramen and it was a very rich and tasty meal. The staff are super nice and you can tell they are working hard to make quality food. I do wish the bubble tea was made in house instead of canned, and Iām hoping they transition away from plastic bowls for dine-in customers.
The inside is a little small, but its clean and a nice place to sit and chat/eat. Overall, I cant wait to come back and try more dishes!
Edit Fall 2025: This is one of my favorite restaurants in town! The food is always consistent and delicious and I love that they now have reusable bowls and spoons. Plus the service is...
