I did a take out delivery and had high expectations for this place but I didn’t like how the food tasted nor did I like my boba tea. I asked for a taro boba milk tea drink and it didn’t taste like that nor did it look like a purple taro drink. I had to throw it away since I disliked the taste which was a waste of $6. I got a poke bowl too from here in a kids size and it was not what I expected. I don’t even think they use sushi rice in the bowl and just used regular white rice which didn’t make the tasting experience better and the tuna that I added as a protein tasted a bit frozen. The topping was alright but I definitely had better like when I go to Domoishi back at home it’s really worth it and by comparing that company to this one. I went in on a Tuesday morning. The establishment itself is very cute and clean. The gal working didn’t greet or acknowledge me, which was fine since there’s the self service kiosk. I ordered the Taro frappe with boba. The taro frappe itself was delicious but the boba was awful, it was undercooked and hard. I have gone once prior to this visit and had a good experience and the boba was good, so maybe it was an off day… all in all I would still return to try other things! This place is a great place to eat fresh and quality food. I ordered the large bowl and it was delicious. I’m a bigger guy so it’s hard to find a place that is both filling and healthy at the same time. Tea & Brown checks both of those boxes for me. The menu also has a ton of options to choose from for their vegetables, protein, and sauces. Everyone should give this place a try!
