When we walked in, my mom asked if there were any sugar-free flavors. The only person who even acknowledged us was Kristian; the other employee was busy turning a broom in circles and couldn’t be bothered to make eye contact or help. Kristian reluctantly took our order with minimum enthusiasm, and at one point even dropped a scoop while trying to keep her long, uncontained hair from falling into the ice cream. At least that one was thrown away instead of being served. I ordered a waffle cone, and as someone who used to work at Baskin Robbins and make waffle cones myself, I know what a crispy, fresh cone should be. This one was anything but, it was pliable, stale, and honestly a poor reflection of their supposed standards. When I asked for a new cone, Kristian insisted, “I just made those today” as if I was the one at fault for expecting something less than a rubbery mess. I demonstrated how pliable it was, and with a dramatic attitude, she walked away, used her bare hands, without washing after touching the register and taking payment to dig through a stack of cones. I politely asked if she would put on a glove, and you would think I had asked for something ridiculous by the way she glared at me. She reluctantly put on a glove, handed me another cone, and it was just as rubbery. I chose to leave it on the counter instead. On top of that they are always out of everything because they are too lazy to keep things stocked also the freezer the ice cream is scooped out of is covered in a thick layer of frost that is in all of the tubs and makes the ice cream taste off. This kind of poor service, carelessness, and disregard for sanitary practices seems to be the standard here, not the exception. I’ll be contacting corporate in hopes that they address these ongoing issues, because the employees, and the management, clearly do not care about delivering a proper...
Read moreI totally understand the staffing problem that has all restaurants struggling, but the manager/owner really needs to be in this store and take control. I hate to give bad reviews but just cannot overlook my experience today. I was greeted and immediately served by a very nice young lady and had no problems. But after a few minutes, my 5 year old decided she didn’t like her choice so we got into the line again and there was only one lady ahead of us. She had been standing there for at least 20 minutes and no one had acknowledged her because the young lady that helped me was waiting on some other (quite needy) customers. For some reason, she had been in line ahead of the other customers but wasn’t waited on before them. Long story short, she was upset by the time she was acknowledged, and asked for a manager. The young lady that finally came to wait on her (NOT the nice one that waited on me) was SO rude and condescending in her “apology” and it got heated. I am not one to get involved in other’s disputes, but because my granddaughter was adamant about getting her ice cream, I stayed for a few minutes of awkward ranting back and forth. I truly feel sorry for the management and workers in the service industry but as I witnessed the rudeness of this person, I had to stand up for the customer. Customer service is clearly not important to management here. If the manager/owner cares, he/she will respond to these bad reviews. I welcome a private message if management needs more information. I can say if I were the manager, I would never tolerate that kind of behavior from...
Read moreIf I could give a zero that is what I would give. I ordered 2 Easter Cakes on the app 64.00 total. I accidentally ordered 2 white cakes instead of one chocolate and one white. I immediately called the store to correct it. No answer, went straight to voicemail. I tried calling this store 18 times that day again no answer. Finally while I was in the area the next dry I decided to stop by. I spoke with the manager, couldn't see his name (Hispanic Guy) I explained the issue about. He said they don't answer the phone when it's busy. I said the business was busy all day. Because I called several times throughout the day and not one time was the phone picked up. He then said I should have drove up here to change my order if they were not answering the phone. So he literally tried to twist it around on me and make it my fault. No apologies, no empathy no nothing. Also, while talking to him, in the background I see a female employee sticking her bare hands in several bags of candy or topping and popping them in her mouth. Just nasty and unsanitary. Now, to the cakes 🎂 I ordered. They blow them up on the website page. The are literally so darn small. Tiny would better describe it. I am deleting the app and will be contacting the corporate office on Monday. Horrible customer service. This store does not get enough business to warrant them not picking up the phone during business hours. The manager need some additional training on how to deal with the public and when eating out you never really know how your food is prepared. I really don't want to give my grandkids...
