Birrieria Mama Rosa 620 — Restaurant in Cedar Park

Tried this place out for the first time. The food was pretty damn good for a food truck I must admit. Have I had better? Yes but again this is a food truck. I'd work on bringing some more flavor to the consume and birria but ultimately it wasn't too bad for taste or price.

Now let's talk about the not so great. After waiting less than 10minutes (it was speedy) we took our food home and realized that ourselves and the truck forgot our drinks. We ran back and waited for the next order to be done before getting serviced. Employee apologized and we went on our way. No big deal, got home again and realized that our side of rice was also forgotten. It seemed busy but ultimately you cannot push out incomplete orders. Atmosphere was okay, not much to it. Hands down, the BEST quesabirria tacos I’ve ever had! Believe me, I’ve had more than my fair share of birria. I’ve even made them (tons of work). Birrieria Mama Rosa 620 absolutely nails it. The tacos are perfectly crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside, and loaded with tender, flavorful birria that melts in your mouth. The consommé? Pure gold — rich, savory, and addictive. Every bite had me wanting more. Top notch service. Chuy was kind, efficient, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell this place pours love into their food and quick service. We shared the Quesabirria special, ordered both drinks, and churros. Everything came out hot and fresh. The guy who took our order was so kind and ensured that our order was perfect by confirming that he understood exactly what we wanted. We sat at the picnic table under the umbrella to enjoy our snack while it was hot. I promised a review on google and they definitely deserved all 5 stars. I wish them the best of luck and hope that more people run to the little pink food truck on 620 and support this business.
