I love Chick-fil-A but I won't be going back to this store. After placing the order in the extended drive-thru line, we got to the window and paid, and the fella even offered dog treats for our pooches. Great so far! But then he tells me to go park because the sandwiches are not ready. I looked around, where to park? Every visible space on that side of the store was occupied. The fella said, don't worry, just park anywhere, we will find you. Okay, I said, just don't forget about us! So I found a spot on the other side of the store, where the drive-thru orders were being taken. We waited 20 minutes, no food, so I got out of the car and walked over to one of the order-taking fellas, and asked him where was my food. He asked where I parked and i pointed out my car and he just looked at me funny. Inhad my receipt in hand and he just said, we can't delivery over there. A young lady apologized, took my receipt and assured me she would get my food and bring it right out. I waited, and a few minutes later she comes out with the food, and before handing me the bag, tries to dress me down by saying, For future reference you can't park on this side, you have to park on the other side. I replied the fellow and the window said i could park anywhere. She had a little empathy but still looked at me like it was my fault that they didn't bring out my food, because they couldn't find my car. I asked to speak with the manager. Several minutes later, a kid walks outz dresses different that the other kids, and I tried to explain how I felt wronged for the treatment i had received. Again he seemed to blame ME for having parked on the wrong side of the building. I suggested he change his process: if there is a huge line of cars and no place to offload vehicles for waiting, then the car should just WAIT at the window. I was very upset at this point, and this kid manager had no sympathy for the aggravation I was being put through. He asked if there was anything else he could do for me, and I half expected him to offer a refund. By this time I did not have my reciept anymore, but I just walked back to my car and we sat there to eat. And wouldn't you know, the food in the bag was NOT our order. I collected up the milkshakes and the bag of wrong food, marched back into the restaurant, went behind the counter to another kid who was playing like manager, and threw the food on the floor. And then I left. Sorry about the milkshakes everywhere. But the proprietor can keep the $21. Obviously he needs it more than me because he can't hire people with enough brains to run the place properly. I love Chick-fil-A. But I will never go to this...
Read moreThis location was recently changed for a different traffic flow. Unfortunately they made things worse. Their attempt to add an express lane for mobile orders seriously fell short for me today. I pulled up in the normal line and was told that I could skip the main line and go around and another order taker would check me in. Very friendly order taker checked me in and directed me to the right hand lane where I came upon someone disputing their bill. Both the manager and other employees saw me pull up and none came to get my name for the order. 10 cars went through the normal left hand lane including the people that were behind me originally before the person in front settled her bill. Even then I had to shout and ask for a manager who promptly grabbed my order and came to assist. He seemed lost as to how this new system was supposed to work. Tip to the owner of this location. If you're going to offer a mobile order express lane then dedicate someone to handle just this lane. As well if someone disputes something have them pull all the way forward and have a manager work with that person and continue serving the remaining people behind them.
September 2025 This mobile ordering is still a mess. Now they dont have anyone dedicated to checking in mobile orders. You have to get into the normal drive-thru line then once youre checked in they ask you to pull out and go around. Still the cars that were behind you end up passing you. Management needs to get their act together. Ive been to other locations where you scan the QR code to let them know youre there then just get in the mobile line instead of having to wait in the normal line. There is no point of having a mobile order line if its no faster or efficient than just the...
Read moreI will never return to the Cedar Park, TX store. I went through the drive thru tonight and ordered the most basic items (2 chicken sandwiches, 2 fries & an 8 piece nugget). When I arrive at the pick up window I am told my order is not ready and I should pull into the parking lot adjacent to the drive thru. No one working the pickup window offers to tell the customer which parking stall number to park in or for a description of your car. Furthermore, they are sending people the wrong way into a one way parking lot with angled parking. This proceeds to occur for several more cars behind me causing a traffic jam in the one way parking lot. Once in a space, I wait for 30 minutes and no one comes out with the food, however, many more cars are going through the drive thru and receiving their food at the pick up window. I decide it's time to go into the store to ask about the order. When I enter, I meet three other customers who are in the same position. The one in front of me gets her order that has been sitting on the counter this whole time and is offered fresh food. When it is my turn I get to speak to someone who has supervisor on their name tag. I explain the situation (as above) and ask for my order. Her response to me after she locates my order on the counter is "your order is here and we didn't bring it to you because we could not find you car". She does not apologize or offer me fresh food and simply stares at me until I say I guess I am leaving with cold food. This location is always a nightmare for me with long waits for curbside orders, but this drive thru experience takes the cake. Never again! Restaurant...
