Came in and wanted to make a couple substitutions on their items and I was told they don’t do it. Apparently, if I wanted shredded cheese instead of queso, that is an absolute no no. “There’s no button”. Was given confusing and antiquated excuses by a rude worker and decided to walk out. I was told I could have the cheese on the side. I asked if they could just put the cheese on the burrito and for some unknown reason that wizardry is not allowed.
When somebody requests no meat which a LOT of people do, it’s sometimes a nice gesture to fill up the burrito with maybe a little bit more beans and rice. No. That was refused as well because “the tortillas are only a certain size and can only fit a certain amount of ingredients”. I’m no scientist, but I’m pretty sure when you remove things it opens up space for more matter. Why isn’t there just a bean and cheese offering on the menu? I also had to be reminded that “just because you’re removing a bunch of things I still have to charge you the full price…”
I immediately walked out.
This is all related to customer service and that was severely lacking. I’m not a difficult person, but I’ve never encountered this lack of convenience from a restaurant.. a rude tone to very simple questions and normal requests.
Sorry Pete. Had the same experience once before - not getting any more money from me. The food wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t good enough for me to keep...
Read moreI went into wait on an online order and minutes passed without seeing an employee. Another guy came in, checked out the menu, waited, then left. Then an employee emerged from the bathroom. I said that I was waiting on an online order, but that the gentleman just outside had come in and suggested he open the door to let him know that he was available to take his order - the employee shrugged that off. When my two orders of 3 street tacos were handed to me, there was only one order in the bag. I explained to the employee that there should be 6 total - two orders of three as it said on the receipt. As he stood there confused, I attempted to appeal to the logic that 3 tacos should not cost $20, to which he replied "I don't make the prices." Forcing me to retrieve the order confirmation and prove I wasn't trying to pilfer an extra order. As he went to the back, I waited and now wondered if he was back there playing some "Waiting" games with my food.
As I sit at home writing this review and opening a taco - it's just a tortilla and chicken - despite their menu stating it comes with cilantro, diced onions, and jalapeno ranch sauce. Absolutely miserable experience and so poor that Fajita Pete's is a place that won't get a second chance, but I can't imagine they'll be in business much longer with this level (or rather...
Read moreWe set up an order for 12 and were really disappointed. I went over the order for about 30 minutes a few days prior to make sure we had everything for our pick up. We came home and were unpacking the order and we had half the tortillas (only 16 for an order of 12), no corn tortillas (which were paid for and we had a gluten allergy in our group), no sour cream which we paid $22 for and 1 t bag of chips for 12 people. I also asked to pay for the $25 catering charge so that we would have all of the plates and utensils which were also left out of the box. I called and the person I talked to was very rude and my husband had to drive back to get the things they messed up on. Whoever answered the phone hung up on me and kept hanging up before I could even explain what was going on. We had a group of people arriving and it was stressful having drive 20 minutes go get the things that were missing in our order. We will not be back and I would warn anyone to check your catering box because there will most likely be things missing. I am including a picture of our $22 sour cream! Oh and I would have resolved this with the manager but whoever answered the phone said there is “no one in charge and no owner.”...
