The gelati was really good, but my issue was customer service related. I'm actually really surprised at the positive customer service reviews because that definitely wasn't my experience.

The first time I went this week, I knew I might not get served. I was cutting it really close to closing time, getting there at 9:57pm when they closed at 10:00pm. When I pulled up, I saw the employees cleaning up so I asked them if they were closed. Eye contact was made, but I never received an actual response - the girl cleaning the door went in and turned off the lights and another girl walked right past me to take out the trash. I get it, I came really late but I feel like a "Sorry we're closed" response would have been more appropriate or really any kind of acknowledgement of my presence would have sufficed.

I came back two days later, this time a full hour before closing. Again, the employees were already cleaning up and I ended up waiting by the register for a few minutes before anyone approached the register to help me. I definitely feel like the couple that came after me had a different experience and were helped immediately, so maybe it's not so much about customer service as it was about refusing service to me?

Anyways, the gelati was good but I'm not sure I'd subject myself to the same treatment again for some ice cream and Italian ice. Also, I see lots of photos of the staff wearing masks but both times I came this week no...

Personally the servers were actually not too bad. Seemed a bit bored but I mean that's fair they weren't very busy at the time. The problem I had was the actual ice and gelati.

I had the Orange Smash with the ice cream and I must say it was not very pleasant. The ice tasted like sugar and sharp citrus, but not actually like orange, not to mention the ice-cream portion was melty and warm as soon as it came out of the soft serve machine, which did not mix well with the ice. To then follow that up when I reached the bottom of my gelati I found a weird goo ball blob at the bottom.

Also a relative of mine got the watermelon flavor, which was also not pleasant. The flavor was like a watermelon and apple jolly rancher combined, which wouldn't be bad if it didn't taste as though random "sour" stuff was also mixed in, as well as a ton of sugar. She didn't even finish her dessert.

Overall the flavors and consistency were just incredibly disappointing. And I don't think my family will be...
