I wish there was a negative star rating you could give places. When I walked in, there was only one table that was occupied in the whole restaurant. It was dark inside, despite it being sunny outside. This review is more about the food, than it is the customer service. Which wasn't all that great, but the food was even worse to the point of making me literally sick as a dog!! So I couldn't finish my food, and didn't think it was the food making me feel bad. The next day I gave my leftovers to my partner, she ate it, and she felt sick, and the next day, she spent in the bathroom, coz she ate way more of it, then I. I've tried Dickey's all over Colorado and it's all the same the meats burnt it doesn't look good it doesn't taste half as good as the restaurant smells so I wouldn't recommend anyone spending a dime in any of the Dickey's because they're better barbecue restaurants out there. P. S. And don't let me get started on how much FAT are on those ribs!! If I wanted to eat FAT, I would have bought BACON, but I bought ribs, and I expected to eat MEAT and not FAT. The disappointment, I give a 5⭐!! They're proud to say they've been in business since 1941!! Maybe it's time to close the grill down, because taste have changed since then....

Dickey's was one of my go-to places for a long time, but it seems they've kinda fallen far off the track. Ordered a 2 meat plate, brisket and sausage, with beer cheese fries and texas toast. The meat was mostly okay, just completely cold - which could be just extra time it took the driver to get here. But what I received instead of texas toast was a square brisket drier and more tasteless than a communion wafer, and my 'beer cheese' fries were free floating in the bag with only a paper wrapper, and no beer cheese. I get $20 doesn't go far anymore, but this was pretty depressing. Since I'm busy with work and pretty much every restaurant around here has let Grubhub/Doordash corner them out of providing their own cost-effective delivery I *HAVE* to include the cost, so at nearly $40 a plate, this isn't really a good value. I work, extremely hard, getting away to drive out and get food isn't a possibility today, so this is what I get.

I went today for a sandwich and fries. The parkling lot is covered with weeds and sun-stained faded stickers on the windows makes you think that this place is closed down. There was no one in the restaurant when we entered. I had placed a pickup order. The sandwich was ok. The fries were cold and was a very small serving for the $4.00 price tag. You can see the relative size of the fries next to the BBQ sauce cup in the picture. Not a great value for the money. UPDATE: Don’t let the comment from the restaurant fool you into thinking they care. I emailed the address they sent and they never responded.

First of all, really want to say that I really appreciate the staff at this location - they're always hard at work and very dedicated to delivering accurate orders and delicious food. If you're picking up an order have a little patience because they're likely cooking or working on something to make the food right; although, most of the time orders are usually waiting for me in the warmer by the time I arrive.

The Dickey's Barbecue Pit on Arapahoe is awesome. They've saved me tons of times and have never let me down, and their food is delicious and always loved by everyone. Why am I saying they've saved me tons of times? They're my go to place for getting food for larger family gatherings and even for catering events with friends/family, especially when I have guests that show up that same day or within an hour or two of calling. The brisket, the pulled pork, the dinner rolls, any of the sides - it's all great and people always love it. Once I only got larger sides from them - and it went great with the home made prime rib. Another time, I purchased food from them and "fixed" it up to sort of make it my own - not that their food really needs any fixing; but these were snobby guests and it was a huge success (sorry Dickey's, only did that once). The restaurant allows one to place large orders online, which I honestly just found out about within the last year and it's great, usually I had placed orders on Ubereats or just gone to the restaurant to place an order. They allow one to place large family-sized orders right at the store or even the drive through; but, for catering I'd suggest giving them a heads up. I think it was Mothers Day last year that they ran out of brisket; but they made up for it with their pulled pork and by throwing in a few extras which I didn't even expect and greatly appreciated.

As for eating at the restaurant - can't really comment on that experience; but it usually seems like there's available seating and it's usually families. They seem to have a buffet or self-serve area on the sides and based on signs it's the same cost regardless of how much you take (not sure if that includes seconds); so guess that's good if your hungry - personally, I don't like buffets because they tend to get messy and COVID is still a thing.

On smaller orders - do check that you got the right sauces. I think they rush to pack the smaller orders and sometimes miss things like the sauces - which happened today; but the brisket's still amazing even...

Not sure I experienced the same place that other recent customers with 5 stars experienced. I have been visiting Centennial location for years and years but haven't stopped in for quite some time. Wow, what happened!?! It appears that this location is under new management. I'm not sure how recently but I didn't see any of the same family faces that I used to see with every visit. As for my review, I'm not even sure where to start. The place was just dirty. It doesn't appear to have had a good cleaning in forever. The deep fryers obviously hadn't been cleaned and the oil looked like it hadn't been changed in who knows how long. The side dish area was scary and the salad bar was even scarier. Broken and run down drink station and no liners in the iced tea bins. Don't get me started on the food, ribs were dry and had zero flavor and I could have sanded my deck with the brisket. This place won't survive a visit from the health inspector. It's really sad. This location has been in the neighborhood for a long time and really was one of the best BBQ around. New management seems to be cutting corners in hopes of making more profit. I suggest making more profit from providing the best experience for your customers so they want to come back. I know I...
