During my recent visit to Topgolf in Denver, I had a less than satisfactory experience that I feel compelled to share. Upon arrival, I was informed by the “check in member” that outside drinks were not allowed at the venue. I had a Starbucks cup with me (Brand new and it was 10am) but I completely understood the policy and was prepared to put it back in my vehicle before entering.
However, the “check in member” insisted that I leave the coffee in a safe space where it would not be touched. She even went as far as to promise that I could come back and drink it during my play. I appreciated her gesture and followed her instructions, feeling reassured that I could enjoy my coffee later without issue.
To my dismay, when I returned to retrieve my coffee, it had been thrown away. I was shocked and disappointed, especially since the “check in member” had promised that my coffee would be safe. When I asked her about it, she simply replied by saying she would "yell at someone." I was taken aback by her unprofessional response, and I was further disappointed that she did not offer any form of compensation or apology for the incident. I wouldn't have left my coffee had I known it would be thrown away, and I felt let down by the “check in member's” lack of accountability.
Adding insult to injury, I observed a group of gentlemen who were allowed to bring their Starbucks drinks in, which felt unfair given the venue's strict policy (they were sitting right next to our bay too).
Overall, my experience at Topgolf in Denver was frustrating and disappointing. I hope that the venue will take steps to ensure that all guests are treated equally (my boss, who was in my party, pointed out that this was very unfair). I would have appreciated some form of compensation or apology for the incident, but unfortunately, I received neither. I hope that my feedback will be taken seriously and that Topgolf will improve its policies and procedures to provide a better experience...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I decided to take my little brother (8) to Top Golf Centennial on Saturday, 05/02/25. We arrived to our section, which the text message claimed to be "ready," but it was still dirty, so we had to wait for that to be cleaned for about 5-10 minutes. The waitress we had was AWFUL and only interested in giggling and talking to the teenage boys and a coworker. I asked her right away for kids clubs for my little brother and then ordered our drinks. She dropped the drinks off and darted away before I could even open my mouth to order some food. She didn't come back. I tried making eye contact with her multiple times and she would just avoid our table completely. We were about 30-40 minutes into our session before we gave up and asked a different waitress to help with the kids clubs (which she brought to us within 5 mins, she was awesome!) and food. We ended talking to the managers, they took our food order and added some time onto our session, they were super kind and helpful. Once our waitress saw the managers at our table -surprise surprise, she decided to do her job. She brought the golf clubs I requested when we arrived, (one hour too late but ok) we already got them from the other waitress so that was pointless. I haven't gone to TG Centennial in years, I usually go to the one in Thornton which I will continue to do that instead as their service is always on point. I was really excited for my brother to have a great experience, and he still did, don't get me wrong, but the service was...
Read moreThe entire experience was actually very great and satisfying. But as our time was running out we couldn't decide if we wanted to stay or go. But we were still working on our last round of drinks talking and discussing business.
When an associate in a red shirt said we had to go because the booth was already checked out to someone. They even had the nerve to have the couple waiting by the booth as we were basically being kicked out.
There were plenty of other booths open as we were being told to go. I counted atleat 10 booths on the way out that were empty. Why was the one we were in so important to have us leave when there were other ones available.
Also, this was on a Monday afternoon, not very busy. I can completely understand during your busy hours like a weekend or something but the place was not busy at all. And for you to basically kick us off our booth and have the people staring at us as we gather our stuff was actually kind of embarrassing. I did not like that kind of treatment. Once we had stopped spending money, they basically said you have to go.
It had only been 5 minutes after our booth was done. We are small potatoes, but imagine if we were a Ceo for a large corporation, someone would most likely be getting fired for that kind of disrespect.
I hope the next time I visit, I don't receive the same treatment after I'm done spending money. Because had we felt comfortable, we most likely would have had a few more...
