Not sure where to begin, it was that bad. First off we asked about the special discounted cocktails listed online but were told those were not on the menu and waitress had to go find out what they were. We ordered a couple cocktails but discounted price really meant lower alcohol content.
Next we asked about the special entress advertised for $14.99 online and on TV. It was these ads that brought us in to check it out. There was 1 the next higher priced one was $23.
We ordered a bloomin onion and it was so overcooked that it was barely edible leaving 3/4 of it uneaten
I ordered the Pasta Alfredo with Chicken and Shrimp and was told by the waitress that it was very dry and needed extra sauce, she offered a special sauce for $1 more so taking her advice I agreed. The dish was good, plenty of chicken and Shrimp and the sauce was good. When we received the check it showed an additional $4.99 charge not $1. The waitress said I must have misunderstood, additional alfredo would have been $3.99 but the special sauce was $1 more so $4.99. I decided to speak to the manager to ask her why, if they knew it was dry, didn't they just prepare it with enough sauce. She explained that more sauce put it over the calorie count listed on the menu. Oh, OK, I get that but if the customer wants more sauce because they don't care about the calorie count then add more sauce. She said that would cost too much so they charge extra for that. I mentioned that their prices were quite high anyway I would think they could afford to make a dish edible with more sauce. I was then informed that prices are high and only going to get higher if voters keep raising minimum wage. Not wanting to get into a political discussion I smiled kindly and said thanks for her time.
Seriously, a smile and an apology would have sufficed. I haven't encountered such a poor, unprofessional response from a manager in a really long time. Perhaps this is why they were half empty on a Friday night. She did remove the additional charge for the "special sauce". Hopefully that won't bankrupt them in the near future. Sadly we won't be back, too many other places with reasonably priced food and...
Read moreWe were there tonight, and got sat down very quickly. However, our waitress did really good up until our appetizers. Then she disappeared, our and was making mistakes left and right , the tables near us were waiting more than 15 mins for drinks, more than 15 mins to get their bill and their credit cards back, made a mistake on our bill and confused our check table with someone else check. Our steaks were undercooked, and we didn’t tell our waitress because by the time she came back to check on us and her surrounding tables she was waiting. We didn’t have time to tell her. Therefore she got the tipped she received tonight, she had red hair in a pony tail. And with the mistakes she kept on making , I asked her “Are you still in training?” Because why would she tell the table next to us she’s having “trouble” finding a manager??? Finally a manager appeared but it was a horrible experience, the people next to us reminded her to check them out and give them their credit cards back by the we all left later because so many mistakes were being made. Again, it’s the lady with the red hair who wore a pony tail tonight. 8/16/ 25. Manager was horrible too, usually they’re out and about but we didn’t see any manager until like 5 mins before we left. If you see that lady with the red hair, avoid her at all costs you’d be sitting there for an hour before you’d get refills on drinks. Like I said she did good up until the appetizers then disappeared…. We had to wait until another table went to...
Read moreAs someone who travels for work frequently, I have experienced many chain restaurants, and how they are different, even though they have the same menu and serve the same food. The big difference of these restaurants at the quality of their servers and other management. This is by far the best outback steakhouse in the country. After having A terrible day due to an auto accident he spent most the day at the hospital. we stopped at the outback restaurant Near Our home our home. A long day of shopping head, obviously taken its toll in the server Britney went incredibly out of her way trying to make sure we had a great experience to make up for the bad day. she really took her time and effort, trying to make sure that our experience at the restaurant was amazing. Would like to give a shout out to Britney who is the server who once again went above and beyond to top off the night manager April stop by just to make sure that everything went amazingly well with our dinner and I asked if there was anything else that done to make our experience more pleasant. It was truly appreciated not only because of the day we had had but the time of year where restaurants are crowded. People are cranky. It was just amazing to have them take the time trying to make our experience better.. I cannot recommend this restaurant any higher. We’ve been there multiple times and always had a great experience at this outback...
