Takeout. It was alright. We got the panipuri, butter chicken, and garlic naan. I know, I know, very basic. The panipuri was good, though light on the filling. The butter chicken was just fine, and for 18 dollars, not a very large portion. The chicken doesn't have much flavor, it sort of just tastes like steamed chicken slices. We ordered it medium and it had absolutely zero heat, so if you want spicy, I would be sure to make that very clear and order as hot as they allow. Also, the 18 dollar curry did not come with rice??? Garlic naan was tasty.
It seems like this place took over from Hyderbad House (which I adored :( )and it's not a rebrand, but I could be wrong. Seems to be a curry franchise, with an absurdly long menu. Like, there must be a hundred or more items on the menu, which always makes me wary. I know my order today was super whiteboy, but I'm interested to go back and see how they handle some of the more obscure (to me) dishes and the wide array of proteins (chicken, lamb, mutton, shrimp, paneer, fish....) and options they serve.
All in all it seems fine overall, and I'll probably be going back to try out some more of the menu.
My last, and biggest, gripe is that their website is FULL of AI slop. All the photos of curry and stuff they post are so clearly AI generated. If you can't be bothered to take pictures of your food, or at least source real photos, how much work is being put into the food? Seems very lazy and almost stopped me from...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting Mad Over Curry in Denver, CO on their Grand Opening on June 15, 2025, which also happened to be Father’s Day—and what an unforgettable experience it was!
From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the ambiance. The décor was vibrant yet cozy, with warm lighting and tasteful Indian-inspired touches that made the space feel both festive and welcoming.
The menu is absolutely packed with variety—from rich, creamy curries to flavorful Biryanis, sizzling tandoori platters, and an impressive selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Every dish I tried was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly spiced. Whether you're new to Indian cuisine or a long-time fan, you'll definitely find something to love here.
A very special thanks to the staff—they truly made me feel like a VIP guest. Their hospitality was exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing the restaurant’s offerings, they went above and beyond to make this visit feel special.

Read moreI recently treated myself to the Weekend Royal Indulgence at Mad Over Curry and it was an absolute delight! The star of the show was their Chicken Mandi – oh man, that fragrant long-grain rice slow-cooked to perfection with subtle spices, paired with incredibly tender roasted chicken. Topped with crunchy cashews, fresh herbs, and what felt like a genuine dash of love, every bite transported me to a world of timeless Middle Eastern and Indian flavors. It's hearty, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent for a weekend treat.
We couldn't resist adding the Nalli Gosht Mandi for that rich, fall-off-the-bone mutton goodness, and the Tiranga Paneer Tikka brought a colorful, smoky twist with its patriotic vibes. For something grilled and savory, the Mutton Seekh Kabab was spot-on – juicy and perfectly spiced. And don't even get me started on the desserts! The Rabri Jalebi was crispy, syrupy heaven, while the Malai Gola melted in my mouth like a creamy dream.
The staff was super friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel royal indeed. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, soul-satisfying food – 5 stars all...
