Hello Future Student,
I am truly grateful and completely fortunate to have been a part of the beautiful experience that South Denver School of Nursing Arts provides for all students. I have always known that I wanted to be in the medical field; although, I had been missing personal confidence my entire life. This school has given me so much confidence that I can barely recognize myself.
First, I would like to thank Whitney for always being there every single time I called for help through the enrollment process, untill the day I collected my certificate. I honestly can't express my appreciation enough. Whitney is the complete definitions of empathy, kindness, fantastic work ethic, and professionalism. I have never met a more inspirational woman in my life who believes in all of her students more than they even can articulate. Second, I would like to thank Joy for being the greatest instructor I have ever had. I can't imagine passing this class without her. The heartwarming experiences she has shared during class will be forever be held in our hearts, and memories as lessons understood. Joy is a beautiful soul here to truly help others. Joy never fails and insures high standards are set for all her students. Which will navigate them in the right direction, so they can succeed in life. She is a wonderful nurse and I hope to be like her one day. Lastly, I would like to thank my classmates for being so respectful, kind and supportive. Without you I wouldn't believe in myself as I do today, so thank you!

Read moreI cannot speak highly enough about SDSNA! Covid-19 has turned everyone's world upside-down, but Whitney, Karina, and all the instructors and staff worked so diligently to help students succeed in every way possible. It requires hard work, but is absolutely worth it. I took the course during summer of 2020 when state exams were not scheduled and we were issued temporary licenses. When written testing opened up, SDSNA provided wonderful review materials to help us study. I felt incredibly prepared despite not being able to take the written exam until 4 months after my course ended. Once skills testing opened up, I wasn't able to take the exam until March (8 months after taking the class) due to being out of the state for school, but SDSNA was, again, so supportive. They provided review materials and opened up their skills lab for multiple 2 hour practice sessions before taking the skills exam. I was worried that I would be rusty on my skills, but all the repetitions we did in class served me well for reviewing for the skills exam, even months later! After the exam, Whitney followed up to see how the exam went and if SDNSA could support me in any way going forward. I am incredibly grateful to my instructor, William, and all of the SDSNA staff for being so encouraging, honest, dedicated, and flexible in navigating this process during a pandemic. A big thanks to my classmates and skills practice buddies too! SDSNA fosters such a supportive environment. Everyone is there to help each other. If your considering taking this course, do it! Start to finish, it will be an incredible...
Read moreSDSNA was by far the best choice I made for getting my CNA license. I was on the track to get into nursing school, but didn't want to enroll in a semester-long course to get started working as a CNA, nor did I want to select a CNA school with a poor reputation and have to repeat this part of my journey into nursing. I researched several schools and felt like there was no second option as the other schools were not very responsive and didn't feel professional. I started to feel like "You get what you pay for" and I didn't feel like I had time to select a school that might not be exactly what I needed to be successful.
The owner and evening instructor were top notch, available and responsive and made the whole process, enrollment through taking the state exam, very seamless and simple during a time when I was incredibly busy, juggling a million things in my personal life. I needed a school that had a solid reputation and could get me into the workforce ASAP.
One really important thing for me was the high pass rates for the school. The pass rate for our class was 100% on the first try for everyone, not all schools have that bragging right.
Now that I am a RN, I realize how valuable my education at SDSNA really was compared to what else is available to someone in my shoes. I absolutely credit this school as the springboard to my career as a nurse.
You cannot go wrong with choosing SDSNA as your first step into the world of healthcare if you want to become a CNA. It was one of the best...
