First time here, I read a lot of mixed reviews, but decided to give them a try. The place was hopping when I got there. Lots of ppl ordering food. The inside was fun and had a nice fiesta feel to it, music was upbeat and not too loud, so if you did dine in you could enjoy convo’s. The safe were so very welcoming, big smiles and validated your presence and made you feel you were important eating at their establishment. The staff apologized for the wait (2 mins so nothing at all, even though they were busy). Menu was clear to read and lots to choose from, I decided on the Deluxe ground beef burrito with the homemade green chili. Food came out pretty quickly, large portion, meat seasoning was good and tasty, the green chili was good. I would have given it a five but just needed something extra to standout. I had tasted a lot of food from NM and sort of got spoilt by the green/red chilies dishes down there. The food was really good, fresh and yummy! I will definitely be back and probably try some of the other amazing dishes on the menu. I do recommend Sabroso. Great staff, fun atmosphere and great food. Will definitely be back!!

Came in and ordered a torta. Asked for extra chipotle at the register. Total was $16, gave $4 for tip. Got my torta, and asked the lady who brought it out for extra chipotle after I took the first bite and there was no chipotle flavor. She says ok. I finish the first half and I go inside and ask for my extra chipotle because again it was lacking. The cashier says he would have to charge me a dollar. I asked if he charged me when I asked originally. He said yes. So I refused to get double charged for something I never got in the first place. I got a to go container and left. Words of advice: 1. Anything extra you get, get on the side to ensure you actually get extra 2. Don’t tip until you’ve finished your meal. I thought about telling him to take the money I gave him from the tip jar as the payment since they couldn’t complete the task correctly the first time. But I’m not here to argue with ignorant people who make minimum wage. Pic shows torta with just a whisper of chipotle.

This was the first time my family and I ever visited this restaurant. It was conveniently located near the intersection of Yosemite & Dry Creek Rd., parking was adequate, it was nicely decorated on the outside, and averagely decorated on the inside of this mom & pop Mexican restaurant, we ordered from the counter, the owner's wife took our order and was very friendly, their menu was colorful and digital, prices were very reasonable, the tables and chairs in the dining room were simple but comfortable and clean, the large servings of food were served hot & delicious, they had TV screens playing popular news channels and rather loud Mexican music playing the whole time. The owner especially came over to our table and greeted us and asked us how we liked our food.

I came here as it was highly recommended by a close friend, and it is walking distance to my house. The atmosphere and decor was impeccable and impressive! While the chairs are aesthetically pleasing, they are not comfortable, so I opted for one of the few booth seats. Sadly the food was terrible! Not to mention they got my order wrong not 1, not 2, but 3 times! The first thing I noticed is that the lettuce used was romaine cut into large cubes (like for a salad) and there were exactly 7 pieces. For me that is an immediate no-go, but I opted to give it a try anyway. I ordered a deluxe smothered steak burrito with pinto beans, rice & cheddar cheese (mozzarella is listed on menu which is also not appealing to me). There was no cheese at all inside, no beans (that I could see) very little cheese & chile on top considering I paid an extra $3 for it. The green Chile was just OK. I could have been OK with it had the rest of my $15 burrito been better. The inside of the burrito-had no visible beans. I showed this to the cashier, and she indicated it was "mixed in" with the steak-I still saw no pinto beans whatsoever, but was able to see a smear of refried beans. This was not great. After taking my burrito back for the third time (first time there was no tomatoes or crema that I paid for), second time was that they still left off the crema although they did add the tomatoes. Third time was to show that there was no cheese or beans in the very expensive burrito I bought. I told her I simply didn't want it, as adding the missed ingredients wouldn't save the 30 minutes already spent waiting and correcting a very simple order, and that I simply didn't like it. Keeping in mind that the owners were in the dining room during this entire time, and I was the only person sitting in the restaurant, they witnessed this situation and did absolutely NOTHING! I simply gave back my $15 mess of a meal and left. I had no desire to waste any more time than I already had, and took a $15 lesson learned experience and left. Obviously, I will never go back, and will never refer anyone to visit. Surprised how really subpar my experience was, based on those others have had. Really disappointed since the atmosphere and distance could have made it a 2x weekly (at least)...

Some talk around town that I genuinely feel the local police department would like to hear about...you know, how you don't ask for IDs when alcohol is ordered? You realize your liquor license is probably a very valuable thing to maintain for your bottom line don't you, let alone good faith standing with the community..?

Absolutely mind-blowing the way my fiancee & I were treated this evening by the 'owner' of this establishment. Very concerning behavior to say the least. The issues stemmed from me returning my entree to the kitchen after I felt, and had my fiance verify, that my nachos were ice cold. Bummer but...it happens, right? After being apologized to by the friendly ladies cashiering then told that they'll have my order out asap, I go back to my table to hang out with my fiance to try and enjoy a nice Friday night out.

Then comes the twilight zone: a random man approaches us + butts into our private conversation saying " you ain't gonna eat your nachos" I said "excuse me," completely blindsided since he never introduced himself or explained why he stormed right up to our table. He then proclaims he's the owner and that my food wasn't cold, even though anybody with a brain could feel the food and would say the same..

Then, he aggressively gets closer + closer, in my face, almost as if he was threatening me or wanted me to react, so that he could play the 'innocent business owner' in case something did escalate.

He had every intention to create a scene, escalate this situation rather than diffuse, and display his blatant inexperience on how to handle one of the most common scenarios in hospitality/ food service....He is without question the worst restaurant owner I've had the displeasure of crossing paths with in 32 years. This man refused to let either one of us speak, as returning patrons, then told us to get out + never come back (without any compensation or refund whatsoever?!) 😂 Keep it, we...

So I been coming here for years now and service has changed so much and is something that is really disappointing because I love their food but there is a person who works here who I dont really appreciate it their work.During the mornings there is two ladies working that wear a black shirt and when it comes to them the food always comes fresh and hot just how I like it. I could wait for 10 minutes and my food is ready to go and go on for the rest of my day !!! But when it comes to the afternoon there is only one lady who I remember wears a white shirt and I bring this up because when it comes to the afternoon I wait an hour for my food if not more, it gets really slow and It frustrates me !! i assume the woman who wears the white shirt could be manager i find this absurdly rude because all she does is walk around and never help her coworkers!! i find this very disrespectful, and lack of service!! I believe for them to keep going w their great service they should have the two ladies in the morning because they move quicker and get orders out very fast !! I hope the managers sees this to keep their amazing service going with the...
