Went to try for the first time. Safe to say we will never go back. When me and my girlfriend first walk in we wait for a bit and then some random guy in a puffy jacket sipping on a shake (apparently the manager). Looks like another customer randomly yell at us over to the side away from the front "what do you need?". We say we are there to order food and he turns around and yells for a waitress to do something rather than do it himself. The waitress calls us over to behind the counter towards the sitting area instead of the front and just says "what do you want?"...without a hello, here are your menus, nothing. After we ask to see a menu because we kinda need to see what the restaurant has inorder to order, we place our order. The waitress walks off and then we stand there and wait. In the mean time, another waitress walks up and takes our card and takes it to the back, which makes no sense when the original waitress comes back around with said card to pay at the register in front of us. So don't know why our card needed to be walked around with if it was going to be used right there. Either way, during that two other customers walk in. Puffy jacket aka the manager just stands there sipping his drink ignoring them and the waitresses are off doing whatever as they yell and cuss at each other. Those customers were not helped and walked out. Now finally onto the food, when we got home with it, which is literally only a few minutes away, the food was bland, soggy, mush, and flavorless. I got the quadruple burger with "special sauce". Literally just go to McDonald's and get a tastier, cheaper version (a big Mac). The fries were undercooked and had no salt or flavor. My girlfriend got the mushroom and onion burger with onion rings. She had to eat it with a fork it fell apart and was a complete greasy mess. Never had an onion ring in my life that had no flavor. Literally tasted like deep fried water. The only reason food has 2 stars is because I got the pumpkin shake and that was very good. If we do go again that will be the only thing we order and then go across the street to McDonald's or Applebee's for tastier, sold, satisfying food. Save yourself the trouble and don't come...
Read moreOur group of 5 stopped in Friday (1/11/19) night shortly after 7 PM. We were seated after a few minutes. After about 8 minutes, our server appeared to take our order. There were many tables open which was surprising given the time and day, but we found out why after waiting 45 minutes for our meal to arrive. I finally spoke to a very young shift manager, explaining my problem and told him we would be leaving in 5 minutes. Just as we were about to give up, our food arrived-sort of. Most of the food was room temperature at best, including broccoli that was not even steamed. We were told that a BLT was being remade for some reason and had to wait for that. This tells me that either our order slipped through the cracks, or was forgotten after being prepared. I regularly eat at 2 other Eat 'n Park locations and have NEVER had a problem. You have some serious staffing issues at the Monaca location. Our meal was comped, but the experience was a complete disaster for us. I also overheard other diners nearby complaining about the service. I hope the general manager soon corrects these issues, but it won't matter to me. I will travel to Wexford or Sewickley to visit an Eat 'n Park...
Read moreThe food is never bad here, and we come several times a year. Today I ordered baked cod and was surprised at how small the piece was. It couldn't have been over 4" long and was about 5 bites. I would have preferred a bigger piece of fish and about 1/4 of the butter. I'm not a big eater, and it was sufficient for me but I can't imagine most people being satisfied with it. Yes, there's the choice to get two pieces of fish, but I don't think I'd ever do that. Three other adults with me were happy with their meals. I was disappointed, knowing they offer a huge piece of fried fish for less money. I didn't want the extra calories, and I sure didn't get them! 🙄. Update: May 2022 - Hubby and myself visited for our early -evening meal. Food is always good. Usually the parking lot is packed, but tonight there was lots of open parking spots and it seemed the large majority of customers were older folks. Service was quick and polite. Very...
