Freedom Square Diner — Restaurant in Center Township

I came to this diner excited to enjoy breakfast at this restaurant since I heard it was a good place to go. My family and I ordered our food, however, it was so long that we did not even receive our food. A large family that came after us and sat in after us got their meals before us. While we were disregarded by our server who did not even seem to care about our food and had no urgency to try and get our food out or update us. There were times where she would walk around and help other customers and even socialize when there were clearly many plates being set out to be brought out. My family and I were patient, but after a while we felt that there was no care for us. This diner did have many white customers and we were the only family of color in there.My family and I ended up leaving without receiving our food. On our way out there was no apology and the waitress just watched us leave and was chatting with another waitress. Overall, wouldn't recommend due to lack of hospitality, there are much better places...

First time here from out of state and wanted to have one last breakfast with our daughter before leaving her for our road trip back home. Food looked great….for everyone else that got their food. Three cups of coffee, 45min later, and our party of four still had no food. The server didn’t seem too concerned other than to come by once to say the kitchen is backed up. Early on I was giving them the benefit of the doubt because it was busy, being Black Friday and all. Meanwhile I noticed a party of six, and a few others that came in LONG AFTER we did, that managed to get their food before us. Even after canceling my order because I was tired of waiting and no longer hungry, there was no rush to get the orders served for the rest of my family. At this point, my only conclusion is that they had no intention of serving the only Hispanic family in the entire place and we ended up leaving. If you’re white you’re alright but anyone else don’t bother...

I give it 2 stars because the food is actually good. But service is slow. I come in one day & got a to-go breakfast after seeing how packed it was, they messed up my order so many times. I was at the front register trying to fix my order twice. I get to the car & think everything is fine, well it was again, messed up. I go back in & request a refund at this point. The manager tells me she can’t do that because she doesn’t know how to refunds on credit cards, so she gives me these gift certificates that i apparently can’t use at the same time & must eat inside to use. I was extremely unhappy with my experience, as I was in the restaurant grabbing to-go for at least an hr due to the complications. It was ridiculous. It sucks because the food is great, but service just isnt the best at all. Probably will never come back...
