Hooray 💃!! The food truck has finally arrived in NWA! I used to feel left out seeing everyone else enjoying food trucks in other places, but now I’m thrilled to be here at Desi Bites 🚚♥️

From the moment I approached the vibrant Indian food truck, the rich aroma of spices filled the air, promising a sensory feast. I started with the Dosa and Idly, and they were so delicious that I couldn’t stop at just one dish.

I loved the vibe, and the food made me feel like I was in India for a while. The name itself suggests a true Desi experience. Every bite was mouthwatering, with the comforting taste of homemade food.

Not the Desi bites it used to be anymore. Food taste & quality has gone downhill in recent months. Initially thought it could be a one-time issue but saw the taste & quality to be mediocre many times. Couple of my friends are a fan of the food truck and had to give it a try multiple times just coz of them alone.

Coming to actual experiences, Bonda is rock-solid as opposite to the usual fluffy texture inside, Dosa & Poori has became the new papad or worst a cardboard versions, too crispy and hard to eat, even soaking in sambhar or chutney doesn’t do much good. Great tasting food irrespective of what you order.

Edit: Downgrading from 5 to 1 star. Not sure what happened here, maybe some management change. Incorrect order, unexpectedly long wait times, forgetting the order are the common mismanagement woes that were seen here too. They also charge $8 extra for sambhar which other shops provide with their food at same price. All this would have been excusable if only they had the great taste they started with. Sadly that also is lost. The aromatic flavorful blends of spices in the food have been replaced by cheap pepper.
