My family really likes Papa Murphys and we order food regularly from them. Three orders in a row now the Centerville, UT location has overcharged us for our food. It is frustrating that this continues to occur and is a bad look for their business. My experience with the issues have always occurred when I call in the order or make my order in the store. A recap of the issues:
January 11, 2020: ordered in store and had a 50% off one regular priced pizza. Ordered family size Papa’s All Meat and a classic cheesy bread. Was charged correctly for the Family Size pizza. Sign clearly showed cheese bread was $5. Was charged $6. Further, after waiting for my order was dismayed when the employee handed me my pizza and it was a Large - not the family size we had ordered and paid for. Again, frustrating.
December 28, 2019: called in order of 4 pizzas. Mentioned we had a coupon when we ordered. Upon receiving the order we were dismayed that the current promotion was not reflected correctly (New York meal deal for $20) nor was the employee able to figure out how to reflect the coupon for the other pizza we ordered that wasn’t part of the meal deal. We should have been charged $32 for our order, was billed $36. Again, frustrating.
December 2, 2019: sent my son in to pick up our order of 3 “faves”. Sign in window clearly showed that 3 faves were $12. We were billed $15 plus tax. My son didn’t catch that, so my bad for not going back to dispute that overcharge.
Net is that the gentleman and his wife who I believe own/manage the location seem really nice and have corrected the issues when I’ve pointed them out. Three times in a row is bad and isn’t acceptable however
Good food, but I would recommend you always check your receipt and order...
Read moreOkay, this review is not for Papa Murphy's fully in general just this store. I'm not one to be picky or complain a lot. The Centerville location I'm sorry to say is horrible! Not only has Papa Murphy's pizza moved from number one to about number six in my books for pizza in the last few years. The Centerville location is so skimpy on toppings and I've never had a pizza so shrunken that it didn't fill the pizza tray. The keto pizzas are always filled to the top but not here. This is not the only obnoxious thing I've had from this location. Really rude employees and just kind of clueless. If the owner or/manager was not there to help me with my order when I picked it up I would have been even more upset. The employees just don't seem to know what they're doing. Honestly, I would recommend not using the Centerville location. I've had really good luck with the Farmington location. So I will just have to stick with that location. I paid $40 for the keto and a large supposedly large pizza. I just think that's a little bit too expensive for...
Read moreRidiculously disorganized. Staff members aren't really sure what they should be doing and frantically changing positions every few minutes instead of completing orders. No one had any idea what was going on, what the wait was, and what order to make them in. I was one of many to call ahead my order and still wait for 45+ minutes to get it. Need to be honest about wait times. Even as the entire room if people had been waiting 30-45+ minutes they were telling people just barely planning orders that they would be done soon. I can always find a way to kill time... But when I pull up to pick up an order that should have been ready... It's rather aggravating to haul a 5 year old and an 8 month old in with you to wait for an hour or to leave in the car with someone. Nothing makes me regret a purchase more than a wait.. especially for kids' food! Pizza was okay, but they are inconsistent and other locations make it better. Even with others' orders.. same pizzas made while I was waiting with different standards for what should have been close...
