Food's ok. Everything else was not. The floor was sticky, as if it hasn't been washed in the past 3 months.
The cashier was incredibly slow and incredibly quiet, with a massive line forming as it was dinnertime. I was in the building, they seemed focused on their drive through customers. I order and pay for some friend's food, and some baked potatoes for me, and he's mumbling questions to me, asking what kind of sauce, I had to ask hime to speak up. Friend wanted root beer, and the cashier goes back to get it. (the soda machine appeared perfectly functional, no sign taped to it or anything, but he said it was broken.) A long time later the customer ordering (?) asks me if those sodas were mine. Cashier dude didn't call my name, just kinda stuck sodas there for everyone to see. I go up to get them and he whispers softly to me that they're out of root beer. Have to ask my friend what he wants instead. I wait another 15 minutes and my friends food comes out but no baked potatoes. (Again, didn't call my name, and the CUSTOMER in front of me had to tell my my food was on the counter) Cashier says there's no baked potatoes. It has been over 20 minutes since I ordered the baked potatoes that I was kinda looking forward to at this point.
I understand that supply chain issues are out of their control, but I would have liked to have been aware of this before I ordered them. Usually, restaurants have something covering those items on the menu. This Wendy's didn't, and the cashier wasn't aware that they were out until they started making my food.
I also understand that there's a nationwide employee shortage and they hire whoever they get. This guy should have had someone shadowing him, he looked completely confused and out of it. Some of the other customers stood there for 10 minutes before ANYONE payed any attention to them, and after the first person in line left, it was like this guy didn't see anyone else. Someone else should have been the cashier, this guy should have been trained better, this restaurant needs to be managed better. And if they're suffering from the employee shortage, perhaps they should pay better.
I was also a little confused that they had plenty of fries but no baked potatoes. They say never frozen, but that's the only other option if they didn't have any potatoes I guess.
I did get a refund for the potatoes as there wasn't really anything else I wanted, but this is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. Eat...
Read moreI work for door doordash and wendys tells drivers to come in the lobby to pick up your doordash order. The door was wide open so I go in to pick up my customers order. I see an ubereats guy in there getting his pick up, but when its my turn to get my food they tell me to go through the long drive through line. When I ask why I can't get my order when ubereats dude got his in the lobby they tell me "i'm to late" i ask to late for what and they wouldn't answer me. So I go through the long drive through line, took me a half hour and was late on my delivery which gets marked against me. When I got up to the second window and get my bag of food it was open and i see an empty chicken nugget container sitting upright in the bag. I ask why that is and chick tells me "chicken nuggets musta fell out" I ask her To correct the problem and she gets all huffy with me. Oh well I can't serve my customer who paid good money for his doordash order, to accept food just thrown sloppily into the bag. Nightmare experience from...
Read moreOn Friday, November 15th, around 8 PM, we ordered six different burger meals through the app to make things easier for everyone and went into the restaurant to eat. However, the restaurant was unacceptably cold, and the cashier's attitude was very unhelpful. Three of our burgers were incorrect; one burger was supposed to be plain but came with toppings, requiring us to request a replacement. Additionally, two of our Big Bacon Classics arrived without any bacon. Instead of properly addressing the issue, the staff simply handed us two thin slices of bacon cut in half to add ourselves.
While we were eating, the same dismissive cashier shook out a dirty rug less than four feet from our table, doing this inside the restaurant instead of outside. He even went to the other entrance to shake out another rug, which is entirely unsanitary inside a restaurant where patrons are eating, and food is being prepared and stored! Overall, this experience was entirely unsatisfactory, and it should...
