I'll start with the good. The staff seemed nice and friendly. I went on Jan 9th 2025 around 5pm hoping to watch ND beat Penn State. Unfortunately, the staff informed me that the owner of the establishment does not allow service dogs, so I was told to leave. As a disabled Marine veteran, my service animal goes everywhere with me to assist with my disabilities. I was told pet or service animal, it makes no difference to the owner. This is very concerning because it is against California law. My dog is trained and was sitting under a table, not making any noise as he is trained to do. I wish I would have been able to enjoy watching the game at this establishment, but was told to go. So I took my business elsewhere. No biggie. I made no scene and camly left. I do appreciate that the staff was not rude about it. I will be filing an ADA complaint with the DOJ. I was denied service for having disabilities verified by the Dept. Of Veteran's Affairs, that I received in combat. I see on their IG page that they honor veterans, but it did not feel that way with me and my veteran friend that met me there. Hopefully there is confusion in the owner’s policy and he or she can correct it. So as it stands, it gets a low rating from my experience.
