So I've had a great experience (relative to food and customer service) at the seal beach location.
As for this location, I will never ever come back to this location. Customer service means a significant portion of how I perceive the food service location and this place epic-ly failed. Upon ordering one regular-sized sandwich (for to go) and paying for my order, I received a dollar back in change. And because I have worked in the restaurant business, I always do tip but I usually do not tip until I make sure that the necessary condiments, napkin, or utensils was included. Everything was good up until I received my dollar back in change.
I am assuming that this lady was expecting me to tip her, in which I would have when I grabbed my food, but when she saw that I did not, the entire vibe changed so quickly. Almost shockingly quickly. Right after she asked me (curtly), "do you want your receipt?" She walked over to the other two employees (a male&female) and whispered something to them. And right as she mentioned some remark, both set of eyes glared back at me.
To top it off, I recieved my order of philly cheesesteak just wrapped around it and without a bag or napkin. It appears that she literally grabbed the sandwich and just wrapped it once and rudely set it down on the counter then said "here you go." Not even "here you go, have a good one" or "have a nice day" or "thank you."
You can count on me walking out of that place without tipping them after all. No wonder this place is dead, all while chipotle next door is bustling with people. Three employees standing around and gossiping when there's literally one other customer inside... this does...

Social Distancing Review
Formerly a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Jersey Mike's now occupies the suite next to Chipotle. The second Jersey Mike's in Cerritos, I came to this newer location to add a business to review.
Walking in, my order was quickly taken, and I had my food in a very short amount of time. I requested the Original Italian, served in a tub. Everything was as ordered, and I was out & about right away.
Service was good. The young women behind the counter were friendly & on point with the sandwich artistry. Usually, the parking is very difficult to come by, as the small private lot is usually occupied, with double parking often being an issue, due to Chipotle. Surprisingly, parking wasn't an issue when I arrived. Perhaps, due to current events? On previous occasions when I patronized Chipotle, I'd park in the residential area directly south.
Can't complain about free Jersey Mike's! The Original Italian curbed my sub appetite, and my visit was quick and hassle-free. If I'm craving a sandwich, and parking isn't too bad, then I'd give Jersey Mike's a shot when my adventures in Cerritos...
Read moreI am writing to provide feedback on a recent experience at your location. My visit was marked by several issues that I believe are important to bring to your attention. First, I found the pace of service to be very rushed. The staff spoke quickly and did not seem to be actively listening to my order. This led to a lack of order repetition, and consequently, some items were missed. Additionally, I noticed a discrepancy with the available utensils. While forks were provided, there were no knives available. Given that you serve sub sandwiches, a knife is a necessary utensil for many customers. Finally, a simple request to have my sandwich cut in half seemed to cause confusion among the staff, who appeared hesitant to fulfill it. These issues combined led to a frustrating experience, and as a result, I would be reluctant to recommend this location to others. I hope this feedback helps you address these areas...
