I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Kebab Shop, and it was an experience worth raving about! From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. I ordered the San Diego Wrap with carved chicken, fries, and feta cheese, along with the mouthwatering Döner Fries. Let me tell you, it was a feast of flavors!
The San Diego Wrap was an explosion of taste, and the combination of carved chicken, fries, and feta cheese was simply divine. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, adding to the overall appeal of the dish. I also had the chance to sample both the spicy cilantro sauce and the spicy chili sauce, and they added the perfect amount of kick to elevate the flavors even more.
One thing that impressed me was the generous portion sizes. The servings were substantial, ensuring that I left the restaurant completely satisfied. Despite indulging in the hearty meal, I couldn't help but appreciate the spotless cleanliness of the restaurant, creating a pleasant ambiance for diners.
Moreover, parking was a breeze! Compared to other restaurants in the same shopping plaza, The Kebab Shop offered plenty of parking spaces, making it a hassle-free experience to enjoy a fantastic meal.
In conclusion, my visit to The Kebab Shop was nothing short of delightful. The delicious San Diego Wrap with carved chicken, fries, and feta cheese, along with the tantalizing Döner Fries, left my taste buds dancing with joy. The fresh ingredients, ample portion sizes, and clean setting further added to the overall positive experience.    Read moreGreat location, in the same plaza as Target. It's the same set up as Habit Grill, where you order the food first , like for takeout. Everything is customizable. Potentially infinite combinations of wraps or plates and bowls. The grilled chicken skewers were well made: tender and moist chunks. Each plate comes with your choice of two sides: Got jalapeno hummus (with pita) and chickpea falafel, Got a second plate with fries - very nicely done with crisp edges and just the right amount of salt, and regular hummus plus one pita. I wish tabbouleh or tzatziki were included and free but these count as sides and are charged extra. Bowl has basic toppings included and your choice of protein- lamb/beef shawarma. The formed beef kofta is also quite tasty and cooked thoroughly. The bowls come with a base of saffron or truffle rice plus hummus, and your choice of vegetables. Fountain drinks and utensils plus sauces are self serve. Jalapeno cilantro dressing has a kick and goes well with the grilled meat or chicken. Several tables, medium volume on the background music. Friendly and helpful person at the register helped me figure out what to get. Thank you to the grill master in the open kitchen - he also prepared each component of the...
Read moreThis Kebab Shop is located in the new mini plaza next to the Target and occupies a pretty decent space. Parking was plentiful since it was next to a lot of other stores.
Coming in on a Monday night, the shop was pretty busy which was great to see. I went ahead and ordered the marinated chicken wrap (no fries since I'm trying to lay off of some of the fried food) along with a side of the spicy hummus. I was also given a water cup to chill with as I wait.
The order took a little bit of time due to the amount of people there, but it was worth it! I also got the spicy cilantro sauce as something to try out alongside the spicy hummus.
The wrap was pretty big and filling! And the marinated chicken was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. The cilantro sauce was a great addition too with a nice kick as well as the spicy hummus. The hummus also came with warm pita bread which was also delicious.
Excited to try this again in the...
