It was my first time dining inside. Basically, I spent $40.00 to be mistreated and for food that had a hair in it. I know it wasn't the server's fault and being a server myself, I am ALWAYS kind to customer service staff and waited until there were no customers in front of the server to show and tell her that there was a piece of long black hair in my food. She reacted coldly as if the establishment's lack of hygienic standards was my fault. She said the cooks would prepare a new plate. I asked politely if I could take it to go, since the person I was with was ready to leave. We waited for a while lot longer than we expected compared to the first time we received the food. I walked up to the front once again, politely ask for the estimated time the food would be ready. The server refused to speak to me. I was shocked, disappointed, and extremely upset when I saw that she had the food sitting on the counter getting cold before placing it in a bag. I did NOT deserve to be treated this way. We will not ever be coming back to eat here. I can receive better service at a Waffle House or Chic-fil-A. If you're going to work with people, understand and care enough to know that your interactions with them, your facial expressions, and your attitude matters. It'll get you far, I know from experience.

Read moreThe first impression of the restaurant is of cleanliness in orderliness. There’s a pick up area a place to order from a human being and a touchscreen for you to expedite the process. I placed my order online and was immediately handed a receipt from the girl behind the counter with a smile… I waited about 15 minutes for two sandwiches some rice and beans.. They were not terribly busy at 3 o’clock on a weekday afternoon, but I saw them put out 8 to 10 orders ahead of me. There appeared to be attention to detail, and the people being served in the restaurant, had an attractive plate coming at them… I took my to go order And sat down 15 minutes later to enjoy my sandwiches… UTTER dissapointment. The sandwiches We’re still warm, but every ingredient was absolutely tasteless and bland. The Bread appeared traditional, but was dry the cheese, almost nonexistent, the shredded pork, dry, and tasteless and barely of sufficient quantity. I’m not even sure there was ham on the sandwich…. The yellow rice flavorless the beans Indistinguishable From a scan that had just been opened and dumped… The sauces that I have been given, made it barely palatable… I was truly disappointed… I have always dined in at the Norcross location and been happy with the food. First time I came, there was four employees sitting on the table, arguing very loud about the schedule of the restaurant, but it seems like they have a problem, I was sitting down with my 10 yr old son, and my son asked me "dad is everything okay? Are they fighting?" In my opinion, if they are going to discuss about work related problems, they should not do it in a restaurant where people are eating, it makes me uncomfortable and it scared my son. If they were sitting in a table, discussing quietly, customers would not know their business. Second time I came, I went with my 14 yr old daughter and her friend and my 10 yr old son, we ordered our food and I payed but I forgot to buy a drink for my daughter. I asked for an extra drink to purchase a soda can, the cost was 2 dollars and something cents, so I paid with 3 dollar bills, and the cashier told me she didn't have change, so I have to leave the 3 dollars. To me, it seems unfair because on the first purchase I paid, I added a tip, but now, when she didn't have the change, I told the cashier, "can I just give you 2 dollars then?" She said "no" so that make me feel disappointed because I had added a tip.
