Collective Pour — Restaurant in Champaign

There's a lot I like here: selection of craft beer, the best burgers in town (technically, it's the separate Smith Burger Company and not Collective Pour). But.. it should be noted that it is really expensive here. Since they don't serve flights, I ordered half-pours on 1-9-25, thinking it would cost similarly. My bad. Check out the prices of my half-pours (keep in mind, this is just 4-5 oz of beer): $5.25 / $3 / $5 / $4 / $3.50. For half pours! What the heck. I know inflation's bad, but for comparison purposes, here's what I've paid for flights of 4-5 beers at other craft breweries around the state this month: $16.87 at Buzz Bomb, $12 at Anvil & Forge / $24.26 at Short Fuse. Honestly I love the owner to this place, and it pains me to see that they are employing personnel like this young lady that was at the bar today. My mother arrived previously to myself and had been waiting for someone to come to her table. Once I arrived we still did not get served. After 10 minutes we decided to get up and leave and directed our friends not to come upon their arrival. My mother and I have a video of the 3 people at the bar and the other 3 people at their table. The place was completely dead, and the bartender could care less about the individuals in the bar, but clearly to only collect a paycheck. Very sad for this establishment as they have a lot of competition...

Never been here. Tried to call them 4 days in a row (during business hours) with no answer and then tried to email them with no answer. Just wanted to ask a question about the bottle shop. Im about 90% sure they could care less about anyone that isn't local. Food looks good but I'll probably never visit as Im 1.5 hours away and have no reason to drive there without purchasing from the bottle shop. Figured id drive out every month or 2 to grab bottles and some food, but apparently I'm not local enough.
