I have always loved Domino's Pizza. But, the Green Street Store in Champaign is one reason I will NEVER order from them in my business or personal life again. I have had, at least 2 instances where we have ordered a pizza from Green Street and have not received it within a reasonable amount of time. The first time this happened the pizza was TWO HOURS late! Believe it or not, we had lost track of time and didn't realize just how late it truly was. We called the store, and they stated they were down to one driver, but does that and no courtesy call excuse this? Then the second time not as late, but still late...same explanation. I should've learned my lesson, but I decided that I would use Domino's for a business meeting at the University for my department, since they are the most reasonable. I ordered at 10:30 am for pizzas to arrive at 12:00 pm. Noon came, again no pizzas! By 12:10 pm I was calling to find out where the pizzas were. SAME EXCUSE, "One of our driver's had an emergency and we are down one driver." REALLY? Why are you not staffed enough or prepared for these situations??? This was three separate incidents with two totally different times of day! The first time we were offered a coupon for a free treat. This time, when it was for a business event for the University it didn't matter, so no restitution was offered to make it right. I know I will NOT being using DOMINO's EVER AGAIN in the Champaign area for ANY event. Once bitten, twice shy, right? That's what I should've remembered when I used them today! This made me look bad to many people, which made my supervisor look bad, which made my department look bad, which is not what one wants when you are trying to impress and recruit a candidate for employment!!! Not to forget to mention, that my supervisor stood at a window and watched the delivery driver pull up aways from the building, get out of his car go to the back and dump a drink, and lollygag all the way to the building in no obvious hurry to deliver ALREADY LATE PIZZAS!!! Read moreI never really leave negative reviews especially since I’m someone who works in food service so I understand when it’s busy and orders take a while to go out but my experience at this particular location has been horrible. I’ve ordered delivery twice and both times it has taken 3+ hours to get my order. Currently as of writing this review it is 10:46pm and I have yet to receive my 1 pizza order that was placed at…. 7:05pm. The dominos app of course will lie and say your order will take only 30-40 minutes when you place it please do not trust that. There’s no way to change which store you order from on the dominos app so if you live within the green st location’s radius please do yourself a favor and just place for pickup at another location. The worst part is both times the app has marked my order as “delivered” and when I open the door it’s not there so both times I've ordered from this store I’ve had to sit on hold while they try and figure out what the driver did with my order.
Next day: I was able to get my order refunded as after 5hrs I still hadn’t received my pizza. Employees were super nice about it but upon returning to my account to check out a coupon Dominos sent in an email corporate has blocked my account. I really hope someone sees this and escalates this to corporate because this has nothing to do with the staff and everything to do with how the app is designed to straight up scam you from lying about delivery times, still letting orders be placed even though in store employees are saying their system was down, and then deleting your dominos account after getting a refund. Yeah real funny how the email address I’ve received dominos emails from is “not linked to an account.” Dominos is a scam company...
Read moreI placed an order on line. I paid on line. I tipped on line. Some minutes later my phone silenced a”Spam Likely” call. I felt a notification on my phone. From the domino’s app. Stating my order had been cancelled.,I saw the spam call from the same area code as the store. I called it back, message said number no longer in service. I called the number on the web site and it routed me to the store. Kieth the store manager answered. I asked him if there was a way to undo the cancellation. He raised his voice at me not ever talking to me but, rather yelling and screaming at me to “ Shut Up” eventually with out ever saying why the order was cancelled he said to “ get your @((;)&.$,&&,& pizza from somewhere else” I tried to contact him twice more by phone to verify my card had not been charged. He hung up each time with no word. I decided to go else where to eat and drop by and let him know I was not impressed. While waiting to talk to him I watched him handle the phone, customers food in prep and wipe his nose with his finger. His customer service skills are so low I would not let him clean a bus station. His attention to hygiene was terrible. He was yelling at me from the moment he knew who I was and why I was there. Before I left he did manage to say the order was canceled due to lack of bread for a sandwich I ordered. He has neither the leadership skills nor the hygiene to work in customer service and food preparation. I have been using dominos since the 80s. This guy is not fit to clean your bathrooms.
