Went to the bar around 5 pm on Friday night. Before we even had sat downn, the bartender had menus and waters for us- amazing! I can’t tell you how many times I sit at the bar at some places and wait… and wait… and wait to even be acknowledged. Bar staff was awesome and super attentive. Wine was fabulous. Only request- Stella on tap for the hubby?? Lol Happy hour menu is insane- we pretty much ordered one of everything. And then ordered repeats of some! Oysters (both kinds) were mind-blowing. Fries (frites street, local, woohoo!) were crispy and seasoned perfectly and truffle aioli was divineee. Wings were so flavorful and the dipping sauce was incredible. The mac and cheese- holy cow- perfect. Creamy, not gummy, not overcooked, literally perfect pasta and perfect sauce. Couldn’t stop eating it. If I had to pick anythingggg to critique, it would just be that everything was rang in at the same time, so all of our food was out at once. I prefer a few at a time, just because I hate having a ton of plates everywhere, but I am sure if I ask next time they would happily do that!! And do NOT sleep on the pretzel bread pudding!!! The chef told us it’s made with a butternut squash custard (what!?!), and smoked salt, and salted caramel ice cream… it is one of the best things I have eaten. It’s the next morning, and it’s literally all I can think about… the food, the service, the atmosphere (and the music is even good!!). Can’t wait to do brunch next weekend! Your team is awesome!!!!

Ambiance: Stepping into Born & Bred felt very cozy; rustic decor set the restaurant for a casual yet charming atmosphere. Blue Jazz music played softly in the background, and the aroma of grilling meat filled the air. Service: Our server, Kylie S, was very cute, friendly and attentive. She answered our questions thoroughly and made helpful recommendations. the wait time for food was in a good templo, especially considering the restaurant was quite busy today (Valentine's Day). Food: started with and the Oysters, grilled Brussels Spouts was fresh and vibran, touched with very balanced dressing. The Short Rib was cooked to a perfect tender, juicy and flavorful. The accompanying mashed potatoes were creamy and rich, Other main courses we ordered like Scallops & Risotto and Swordfish were hearty and comforting dishes. Drinks: The selection of cocktails was impressive, and our server helped us choose one that paired well with our meals. Price: The prices were on the reasonable end for a casual & fine dining experience Overall: The Bird & Bred offers good dishes charming atmosphere and friendly service. And we are happy with the complimentary white wine the restaurant GM offered today.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Born and Bred to celebrate my birthday (1-28), and it was the perfect choice. We were lucky enough to walk right in without a wait, and from the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. For my meal, I enjoyed a fantastic steak sandwich, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I also tried one of their mixed cocktails, which was expertly crafted and absolutely excellent. To top off a wonderful evening, the staff brought out a complimentary slice of key lime pie for my birthday. It was a delicious and thoughtful surprise, and the perfect end to a great dinner. Born and Bred is definitely a place I'd recommend for a special occasion or just a fantastic meal with amazing service.

This is the worst and most bizarre dining experience that I have ever had. Let me start by saying, when this place bombs it will not be because of the food but because of the service! We ordered our meal and the waitress told us they had just served the last pork tenderloin dish and were out (at 6pm on a Friday night). We then ordered the short rib and asked for the same vegetables but they could only bring the mash potatoes. I asked if we could get a side of Brussels sprouts with it and the waitress said yes. I, apparently misunderstood and she was actually bringing a whole appetizer order with it. She then proceeded to bring the meal out in stages. Two of us were served and then one more entree came out a bit later, and then the last entree came after the 1st two were almost finished with their dinner. As the waitress set the plate down she said it did not look pretty enough and she had to have them remake it. When the bill came, I noticed that I was charged $15.00 for the Brussels sprouts appetizer and asked to have her speak to the manager because that is not what I thought the order should have been. All of this was bizarre up to this point, but NOTHING prepared me for the manager’s attitude and demeanor!! She was rude, condescending and wasn’t going to even empathize with our situation. We were wrong from the get go. She told us Brussels sprouts are way more expensive than carrots and they would never serve it as a side. She did say she would take $7.00 off the bill which she never did! She also said the pork tenderloin my niece had ordered has been off the menu for two weeks and they don’t serve it anymore, even though my niece had been told they just served the last one. Not the same story, so someone was lying! I worked in restaurants for many years and would never have treated a customer with such a rude attitude. This manager is not good for your business. This was not an inexpensive bill and I will not be treated this way when I am spending hard earned money to enjoy a nice meal. What a shame for you but you have lost my business and my referrals. I will go to the other restaurants in Chandler where I am treated as a...

Booked a table for 4 for Valentines Day dinner. Received a phone call one day prior stating I was on a waiting list because I booked one day prior. They then corrected their mistake when I told them otherwise. Arrived at the restaurant 15mins early. Made us wait out on the street in the cold until our time came while they took in and seated walk-in’s. They said the bar was full. Showed up 2 minutes prior and was told to wait until the exact time. Zero customer service. Could have seated us easily at the numerous vacant tables and generated more revenue. It’s obvious one or more of the girls working the front have little to no customer experience. One especially came off as arrogant. There were plenty of vacant tables the whole time we were there. To top it off they sent email stating we couldn’t stay more than 2 hours due to a busy night. Definitely overhyping the restaurant as the place thinned out at 8pm. So for customer service was a big zero in my book. Once seated our waiter was friendly and courteous. Ordered the B&B fries and Trouffle fries. Both were way too salty and tasted the same. We ordered the Halibut, their burger and they were too salty as well. The overall food quality was below average. Had the Bread pudding dessert which was good. For $250+ it was overpriced for horrible service. That too on Valentines Day. Unfortunate, but won’t...
