There are a few places to eat breakfast in downtown chandler, but none like OverEasy. From the people who work , to the Atmosphere, it is 5 star service in a comfortable place that really serves the best breakfast in town. But today… Today was an absolute game changer, today I found out they also make donuts. 🤯 I ordered the chicken and waffles, and it was delicious. In fact everything I’ve ordered has been. They have the traditional breakfast options and they have some non-traditional super creative options. AND TODAY, today I thought I ordered a traditional donut, but what I got was not only a delicious donut, but a surprisingly really delicious donut. However, there was another surprise or maybe it’s a more of a mystery waiting… As delicious as this donut was, It was the only thing on the menu like this! Here’s what I mean. They have a delicious Avcado Benedict, a fun twist on an old favorite. Why don’t they have donut sliders, where there amazing donuts pair up with a delicious burger? That’s their niche, they take old classics and make them delicious new favorites. They had the traditional breakfast choices but they also have the twist. And I was floored to look through the whole menu and not see the Donut pancakes, or the donut burger, or the sausage and egg donut, or… Wait, if they have the fryer for donuts, why aren’t there “FunnelPanCakes” where are the FUNnelCakes! Ok,ok, ok, I love this place, so I’m hoping they have more planned for the donut delights. And now I also want...
Read moreAbout 6 months ago I flew here to AZ from the Canadian border just to try this restaurant. To say it was one of the best decisions i’ve made, is an understatement. From the first time I was greeted walking in to the last time I was there, the service, alongside the food, was absolutely outstanding. In North Dakota it’s very difficult to find a decent breakfast place outside of your typical chain restaurants like ihop and Perkins so having an experience like Over Easy, raised the bar. On top of all that, their General Manager, Alexa, knows what she’s doing. No matter the time of day, the time of year, she’s always there to greet me and tell me how good it is to see me. Strong leadership is hard to find in today’s world but the staff alongside the higher up’s at over easy truly make a difference. It all started with one visit, and now i’m here 1-2 times a month just to come have steak and eggs with an Iced Chai Latte. I mean if it wasn’t good I wouldn’t make the effort to return so there’s that. Thank you Over Easy for making your customers feel cared for and treated well. Not to many companies can pride themselves in being a family run, great service, great food, and fun company, but you guys can. If there was ever a possibility to have an Over Easy in north dakota, I would make sure i’d be the first there on opening day, ordering my steak and eggs, with a signature Iced...
Read moreI was excited to try a new brunch place! I love breakfast foods and can never get enough of them. Since Over Easy had been visited multiple times by the TV Food Network, I had high hopes for them. The atmosphere was bright and cheery. When my generous mimosa made with freshly squeezed orange juice showed up in front of me, I was pretty set to absolutely love this place. However, the meals that my friends and I had were all pretty average. I tried the LoKo MoKo. I ordered it without onions (crispy onions were listed as an ingredient). When I did so, I would have assumed the server should tell me that there were onions in the mushroom gravy. She did not, and there were a bunch of onions in the gravy. Luckily, they were easy enough to pick out. The LoKo MoKo was tasty, but it wasn't anything special. Unfortunately, rice ruined it for me. It should have had sticky rice, but instead it was just regular non-sticky white rice; not at all the right texture for a loco moco. One of my friends tried a Wolfpack which was more than generous with the hashbrowns but lacking in all the main ingredients. My other friend tried the chile pork and grits which he enjoyed, but thought would be pretty easy to recreate at home. Overall, it was okay. I might give it another try if someone invited me to go, but I don't think Over Easy will be on my list...
