Found this jem while looking to expand past my usual pho go to places. The atmosphere is very relaxed and truly calming, with a quite waterfall in the main dining area. Food came quicker then I could've imagined. 8minutes at most. The chicken pho was hot and came with plenty of garnish. (Which is a must for me) My bestfriends chow mein was also cooked wonderfully and they allowed her to customize it to her liking with no extra charge. My only down fall with this restaurant was the beef broth didn't taste homeade. After trying quit a few pho places over the year I'd like to say I can determine fresh made broth, vs package and water broth, and this certainty tasted like the later. All in all it was good and we will be returning!

So I came in here on Christmas Day, only rating 2 stars because it was open for Christmas. I ordered PHO soup with EXTRA meat in it, the portion of meat in it was surprisingly really small. Ordered a coffee that costed me 3.99$ and was way super sweet. And the lady couldn’t fix it. Inside atmosphere wishing to be better. Next time will find a different place to eat Vietnamese. Hope my review is helpful to you. I’m being honest from my point of view. Thank you.

This is the only place where I go for Pho. Not because I’m boring, or because I don’t like to explore other Pho joints. I only eat Pho here because I have eaten Pho at every other place, and this is the best. I’m a pretty big deal in this whole “google reviewer” thing. So I know what is what. And what it is that I’m saying is- Pho Dam is the best damn pho. (I inconsistently capitalized pho on purpose because I fell like it)

Wish I could leave neg star! I am Vietnamese and have travelled to over 200 cities and towns in the lower part of the United States (from the Pacific coasts to the Atlantic's) , I have dined at countless restaurants, and this restaurant serve the worst BBH out of all, even worse than Cyclo.

I usually come back to a restaurant a second time to try a different item on the menu before leaving a review if any to be fair, but will not come back to this one, and will disown any family member and friend whom'd come to eat here.

First impression, not good, should have walked out, the receptionist, his name is "T", saw me but did not get up from his chair to greet and sit me, he waited for me to approach him at the counter to let him know I wanted to dine in. Ordered BBH after he sat me. "T" brought out the bowl of BBH and a few seconds later a cook walked out of the kitchen look at me and walked back in, I knew that he wanted to see who ordered the BBH, as a prior restaurant owner I knew that he was hoping a non-vietnamese person odered the item. Broth was salty, had to pour some of my ice drinking water into the bowl. An authentic BBH should have atleast 3 items of the followings, Brisket Shank Pork belly Pork blood cake Hue sausage Tendon Did my inventory, found 1 type of meat (brisket) and pork sausage (cha lua/gio lua), that was the only 2 items found in the bowl. No one eats pork sausage with BBH, it is for stuffing sandwiches...it gets ugly soft and the tastes of raw MSG is highlighted when heated.

Went to the counter to pay, commented to "T", he responded "we make our own version", I told him that I just wanted to give constructive criticism, he kept saying its our version, asked if I can leave a note for the cook, but this kid will not allow me to do so, I am a friend of the owner, wanted to surprise him that I am in town and we should hang for a few, guess that is not on my to do list any more. $17 for bad food, plus bad...

Honestly baffled by the 4 and 5 star reviews.

I was obviously the first dine-in customer of the day, and therein lies the gamble if you will get the freshest of everything or yesterday's leftovers. I got the latter, unless this is just how it is all the time.

The pho broth was cloudy and light, did not have much flavor other than Five-Spice and MSG. You can tell they use MSG because as you eat your mouth dries up and you get incredibly thirsty. The noodles were overcooked and chewy. I had to ask for extra limes and mixed in a heavy dose of Sriracha to get any flavor from the soup.

The bún was terrible. Quite possibly the worst I have ever had. Wilted lettuce and bean sprouts. I asked for no peanuts, but they still included peanuts. I'm not allergic, just not a fan, but I rolled with it. They weren't even chopped / crushed peanuts, they were pulverized into almost a powder. It made everything in the bowl taste chalky. Lastly, the grilled pork was just awful. Thin, dry, and burnt. I had to bail on this dish after forcing myself to eat around a third of it.

There are better options for Vietnamese food in Chandler. Hell, there are better options in...

I’ve eaten here a few times before. But my last time was the worst. They had a vegetarian dish that you could “pre-order” one day in advance since they had to prepare it. I was excited for it. The next day I went to pick it up and my friends form the office even ordered some of their other dishes on the menu. I was horrified when I opened my meal. First of all, it was NOT even the dish I had preordered. And it had MEAT on it. When I called them to try to resolve the issue all they told me was to “remove the meat on top.” But if I did that then it would be a dish with no protein, but just cold noodles. Which is not even the dish I ordered. I ordered rice rolls. They did not offer a refund or even apologize. The customer service was very bad. I will never recommend this place to my friend again. Oh, and the word for vegetarian in Vietnamese is “chay” which literally translates to “Buddhist monk food.” So if they’re okay feeding this to Buddhist monks then be careful with what they’re feeding you if you decide to...
