In a nutshell, Thaily's is my new food obsession. My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for a while, but we keep forgetting about it. We will not be forgetting about it anymore. We stopped in for take out. The inside dining is small and there isn't any outside dining. Which was fine because it was early afternoon, oppressively hot, and the humidity was horrible.
Inside it is tiny, there are only a few tables. So getting your food to-go is probably your best option here.
We interrupted the owners in the middle of their post lunch rush meal. Sorry for that btw. They were both very friendly, kind, and very personable. My wife got the lemongrass beef and I got the Gyro. Neither of which disappointed us. My wife loved her dish, I tried it and it was quite good. My Gyro tasted a little different than other Gyro's I've had. Which is completely a good thing. It was REALLY good. We both wish we had ordered two plates each so we had left overs for dinner.
For those not in the know, Thaily's has Cambodian and Arabic foods. It's seems a little weird, but gosh darn it, it works for my wife and myself.
We both had a little trouble deciding what to order. We do plan to go back to try other dishes. Fortunately Thaily's is close to home and I plan on stopping by on one of my daily bicycling trips. In fact I may just "accidentally" plan my bicycling trips so that I end up swinging by Thaily's more often.
I definitely recommend giving Thaily's a try. It might just become your new food...
Read moreNot bad at all. I’m born and raised in Thailand. Every where I go, I always scope out “som tum” or papaya salad. This one hits close to home. The flavor is just right. Pretty sure there’s fermented fish in the ingredient as I can taste it, which is absolutely fantastic! Most Thai places always serve papaya salad Thai style and shy away from using fermented fish since it’s not a flavor most Americans are used to. I love mine Lao style. This one hits close to home, being that is in Arizona. I can easily find papaya salad in California to my liking and taste. So kudos to Thaily’s for being the first Thai restaurant i scoped out in AZ that has such flavorful ingredient. I love my food spicy. Being bred in Thailand, my pain tolerance for spicy food is pretty high. The more spicy it is, the better. When there’s tears, sweat, and screaming, that’s usually when the food is good. Anyways, the flavor of the papaya salad is legit here. Spicy level, well, could definitely be much much higher. I understand the local demographic and customers around here can’t tolerate that level. It’s ok 😅 anyways, really enjoy the food here. Will be back for more, especially that...

Everything we ordered was fantastic and the owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, checking on us regularly to make sure our dining experience was top notch. We ordered the Prahok Ktiss, Beef Laab, Spicy Curry Chicken Platter, Spring Rolls, and the house-made Coconut Mochi and every single dish was absolutely phenomenal!
Their Beef Laab is now my benchmark for what laab/larb should be, the Prahok Ktiss was unique, bright, and texturally delightful, the Spicy Chicken Curry rich, warming, and comforting, and the coconut mochi was chefs kiss beautiful.
PS- The chili lime fish sauce that was provided as a condiment to help add some heat (prik nahm phla?) was FIERY and definitely hit the spot- I'd buy gallons to put on everything if they ever start selling it!!!
They're located in a small unassuming shopping plaza with a tiny parking lot but don't let that fool you- Thaily's is the real deal and is easily one of the best meals I've...
