Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Channelview

My truth. I do not like Shipley's Do-nuts. BUT... I travel 25 minutes and off path to go to THIS Shipley's Do-nuts exactly. They make beignets and I don't mean to offend anyone from the Boot, but I think they are better than the ones in New Orleans. It's not just a lump of doe amd powdered sugar, it has a light glaze on it like their glazed donuts. As long as they keep making these, they will have me as a customer. The workers were mostly my old students who I thank for asking me to come try their beignets, so the service gets a 5 Star rating from me. The Kolaches are good too. Next time I will take a photo. Yesterday a Rude lady who took my order at the window!!! I mentioned to her I had 2 free doughnuts on my app and you could hear in her voice she got an attitude real fast! I get to the window her face says it all 😡 she says my machine doesn't work. It's not about the machine not working it's just how she got a dam attitude when I mentioned I had something free.. For some odd reason I walked in with my three year old son and it was 3 three people at the counter so we stood behind a woman who looked likes she was almost about done with her order until a new guest walked in a order immediately, so then I asked one of the workers where was the line since I was already skipped and all the workers began to not speak English … I left because I had already been waiting 10 minutes and noticed how can you work drive through if you only speak Spanish I would assume the company requires bilingual but in this case all three workers was not and had not knowledge on how to...
