I really am at a loss in thinking that places like this exist! I placed a call to these folks after dropping my S22 Ultra this weekend. Spoke to a representative by the name of Ian, who claimed that he had 2 of the screens in stock. He asked me if I had insurance, and i told him yes I did. He said that the sooner I came in, the better, to guarantee that I would get the phone done, and secure one of the two screens.
So before I hung up with him and jumped in my truck to have wasted my time, I went over everything with him again. "I have a Samsung S22 with a cracked screen. I'm coming in today, as your cutoff is 1700 hours and you close at 1900. I'm going to be paying out of pocket and will be reimbursed through my American Express mobile insurance policy." Then his story changed...
He stated that the 2 screens are for phones covered by Asurion through AT&T and Verizon only. I asked him, what is the difference? I'm paying out of pocket and submitting the claim through American Express. He stated that they can't work on phones with these two screens in stock unless they have the AT&T or Verizon insurance. Granted, it is an AT&T phone, I asked him, so does the phone scream out "I have the AT&T insurance" in order for you to proceed? I mean, I can't believe I was hearing this utter foolishness.
So I then made the mistake of asking him what he needs to do if the phone isn't screaming out that "it has the AT&T insurance." He said if he places the order for the screen today (Monday), it will be in on Friday. He doesn't need my name or anything. He can just order it, and I can just pop in on Friday. (not even knowing who I am). If I don't come in, they send it back.
I won't trust these folks with a PENCIL, yet alone my phone. This is why it's important folks, to stay in school! (That one is for you, Ian!) I've gone ahead and just ordered a replacement phone through AT&T, and done with places like this. ...
   Read moreThe customer representative could have been real and upfront and honest with me. I was willing to wait an hour even 2 hours for my phone to be fixed, but he insisted that the phone would not be fixed until the next day and then I will have to return and leave my phone overnight when I live more than 20 miles from this location. I chose this one because it was convenient to my job and I could come here after work and wait in the surrounding stores while he was fixing the phone only to drive home and then needing to use the computer to have communication so that I can do my job. I see that I receive an email that my phone is finished so he clearly fixed my phone in 19 minutes was not up front and honest with me try to say because he was shorthanded yet he fixed the phone in 19 minutes so him being short clearly was not a problem and then I had to go 18 hours without having my phone that he was able to fix in 19 minutes. I'm absolutely disgusted. I will never return to this location. I will never ever give my phone to the technician Ian ever again. He should be fired and should never be ever engaging with any further customers. It says peace of mind sold here. I was sold nothing but anxiety, stress, anger and resentment towards the unethical and dishonest and disrespectful lies that I was told about my phone and being forced to then wait overnight without any communication. Unable to work so I lost money. I lost work. I lost time. I had to spend gas money returning over 20 miles back to this location. Paying tolls to come back to this location where he fixed my phone in 19 minutes and it was completed at 619 19 minutes later than I dropped it off Friday evening when they did not close until 7:00 p.m. I am highly disgusted.    Read moreI went to this company to see whatâs was wrong with it why it was freezing up back on 08/19/2022. By Sunday after noon I was told that it was my fan Malfunctioning not working correctly. After leaving that place Call HP Back more frustrated than ever so I Call the micro Computer center spoke with a young lady didnât tell her what was going on with the laptop and that it had warranty on it on the HP as a father diagnostic on last last Wednesday the technician show me show me the problem that was actually wrong with the laptop which was the keyboard itself with no not making connections with that being said it always covered under warranty and will be ready in a week from today as you can see Iâm very displeased with this company and does not make any sense On how they lied to me telling me is the fan and it was something totally different that was causing the problem with my laptop or freezing when was the keyboard yourself. How can as we as customers trust people like this is in these type of positions or technician Age squad any type of service the cost more money than what it actually cost Iâll fix please get a second chance when dealing with this type of company you break it we fix it please get a second opinion donât do it...
