DISCRIMINATORY SERVICE: I have to say that this review is solely on the service we experienced, not even the food, because it has taken so long to receive it. We ordered two dishes from this locationāchili momos and egg chow mein. We were told it would take 15 min for the food to be ready (at 2:12 pm) so we sat at a table across the restaurant for the wait. At 2:27 we checked to see what the progress was with the food and were told āanother 10 min,ā with no explanation for the delay. As we continued to wait, we saw the cashier bring bags of food over to at least three other tables, all of whom had ordered after we had. At 2:43, she came out from the back with our food, caught my eye, and said āitās ready,ā without offering to bring it over to us as she had done with every other customer. It is very troubling and mystifying as to why we were discriminated in this fashion, and I would like an explanation as soon as possible. Needless to say, we will not be returning and will be advising anyone we know in the surrounding community to avoid this establishment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is located within Lotte Plaza Market. There's a food cart-like area to the far right of the establishment.
The 3 stars is because the service was initially slow. I showed up and the server/cashier/etc was sitting down with her friend. I was standing there for what seemed like 10 minutes and she did not get up to see if I wanted to order until I hit the bell on the counter. I also saw some people come and leave because there was no one there for immediate service. I guess that's one way to operate an establishment. Since it's still in business, it can't seriously be an issue.
Aside from that, the food was good. I came to experience the momos (ended up with fried instead of the normal version) and it was good. The food is a little oily so I couldn't see eating this daily as being good for the body. But as an occasional meal, it was great. The server helped me out when I asked for the most authentic Nepalese food. I appreciated that.
Another reason why I'm rating it as 3 stars is that the amount of rice given is super small. So be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently stumbled upon this hidden gem of a momo place tucked away inside a bustling food court, and I'm so glad I did! The food here is absolutely delicious, and it's clear that the chefs put a lot of care and attention into each dish. The momos, in particular, are a standout - they're perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, whether you opt for the classic chicken or the more adventurous vegetable varieties. Spicy red sauce has a kick !!
Despite being located in a food court, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with cheerful decor and friendly staff. And speaking of the staff, the service here is excellent - the servers are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, happy to make recommendations or accommodate dietary restrictions.
Overall, I would highly recommend this momo place to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable meal in the heart of the food court. Whether you're a fan of momos or just looking to try something new, you won't be disappointed by the fantastic food and friendly...
