Gong Cha Chantilly — Restaurant in Chantilly

Wow. This place sucked as an avid Boba tea connoisseur I was deeply disappointed by this specific location. I had just gotten done bragging about how much I like Gong Cha. I took some friends here and man was I disappointed.

Firstly, the staff in here act like they hate their lives. Really feeling the love guys.

Second drink was horrible like I’m talking about kung fu tea bad. It was melted the moment I received it …very very watery and the taste was nasty. Can’t really say more than that it was nasty and watery and was supposed to be a smoothie style

Thirdly… man it was disgusting in here!! There was sticky residue all over all the tables… a bunch of sticky footprints all over the floor. The trashcan was overflowing and with trash on the floor by the trashcan. trash everywhere. The doors to get into the shop were super sticky, which grossed me out as soon as I entered. You guys gotta clean up during the day. This is basic etiquette you know.Just kind of run down place. There’s other Boba tea shops in the area …pass on this place go...

Boba lovers: the only place I go to. The boba is really good (like really) and there’s such a variety of things in the menu, more to come. The way they cook to pearls to how the shop smells, it’s a really good business. It’s been a little while since I’ve been there (mainly because I’m broke, it’s a little expensive) but I used to be a regular, and I got 2 free drinks one time. I recommend downloading the app so you get points towards free boba/drinks/waffle ice creams and you can just skip the line and pre-order. 1000000000000/10, and for lads who have been to Teahouse, it’s a LOT better than Teahouse. Horrible experience - I don't speak Chinese and apparently the staff only speak Chinese. I was forced to pay a tip that i didn't offer, authorize, or feel was warranted. It was added by the clerk automatically. I argued this and the clerk either chose to pretend to only speak Chinese or couldn't speak anything else. The drink was terrible and tasted like water, I asked for half sugar and got 100%. I hope it wasn't an issue of my skin color, but i was treated so poorly it's the only reason i can see.
