We ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani and the Nawabi Goat Biryani. It's Andhra version of biryani. Both were the best we had in a very long time. We ordered medium spice. Chicken was a milder one while Goat had a bit of a spice kick to it. Salaan with the Biryanis was also good. We also had Chicken 65 and that needs some work. It needed a bit more toss in corn starch, rice floor and curry leaves. The online menu needs fixing, you folks! Some web site designer has put how to make biryani rather than explaining what it is! For some time I thought they were selling biryani kits. I have informed the folks about this. Just a bit amusing and should not take away from the good Biryanis.
2024 June: Got the milder version of the mutton biriani and that was a bit better for our palate compared to the Andhra 'kicks in the medium. Tried the lollipops and they were really good. Do get these. Sunday also had a fish curry special. Fish was pomfret and the curry had a very good tamarind and Chilli combination for a unique flavor. Verdict still stands - best biryani in...
Read moreThis is my favorite place for chicken 65 & keema biryani. We have also tried and enjoyed the indo chinese fried rice/noodles. These are also part of our regular orders. Every now and then we will get the mango lassi and samosas.
Also for party orders you should grab the gobi 65. The owner is always pleasant and the food is nice and fresh. He has given us samples of his new creations when we have stopped in for our order. We are yet to be disappointed.
He listens to customer feedback and is always trying to make sure the customers are satisfied.
Every time we host a party we order a tray of chicken 65 and noodles. They are always a big hit and leave everyone stuffed bc we can't stop eating the tasty food.
7/21 update: We stopped in and the owner had a catering order that day and asked if we were interested in trying something that is only made for catering since he made extra. He sold us a huge order of pakora for $10 and it...
Read moreOne of those places where i have felt warmth and kindness. The owner Uday bhai is so sweet and the same love is felt with every bite of the yummiest biryani he makes and they are definitely one of the best in VA area 🥰.
We are a biryani loving family and Biryani Bites is our new go to place for Chicken Dum Biryani or chicken keema biryani. Also enjoy their lollipop chicken which is yum yum yum. Uday Bhais cutting chai and samosa reminds me of India and how we would sit around friends and do gupshup.
No picture 🙃 try their biryani to believe why we could not wait for even a second to get a picture clicked 😅
Pro tip : Ask for their amazing extra Salan as that is not like the traditional salans but a unique one and enhances the biryani...
