The McDonald's located in Chapel Hill on Fordham Blvd, is The absolute worse McDonald's that you could ever go to. First of All, let me start off by saying that the head Manager there is awfully prejudice and makes it obvious. I visited there today around 11:58am and ordered a fish fillet, and small fries and My friend had other food items. We were handed our food, but I didn't want the extra calories from a beverage, so I requested a courtesy cup of water. He looked over from the front line to see who had requested the water, he then advised the employee to park me and bring me the water later. This is absurd. This wasn't the first time I've had a bad experience there, but I thought maybe things would be better at this visit since it's drive,thru. The last time that I had a bad experience there, I had asked for fries no salt, and fresh French fries since I had noticed some sitting in the vat area already bagged, but didn't look fresh. That same Manager approached me saying, "All of the Fries are Fresh, You take what we give You, or I will call the Police on You". He refused to give me fresh fries, so I requested a refund and promised to never return. I thought I'd take a chance today, but sadly no change in His behavior towards me. He is a Mexican guy. They employee said his name is Whan. By The Way, I wasn't willing to park and wait for the water since I realized he had hatred towards my Race. I think this case deserves to be looked into by my Attorney. Legal is probably the best route for me to take with this, especially since I've reported his actions in the past Concerning the French Fry issue, but he's still working there. Maybe even ICE should stop by there and check him out. I'm Not sure what he's so angry about living in the U.S. A. But I won't be going there ever again!!!! What do you guys...
Read moreI was in this restaurant last night when I witnessed a manager yelling at an employee for mistakes clearly the other employee made taking the orders . The lady had to correct my order when I came through drive in . At the window after he took both orders I had in the car. I came in to see if the ice cream machine working and I got an ear full from the guy manager. He seemed to be mad with everyone. His face was upside down and the lady went out of her way to help us correct our order in the drive through. You should never yell at your employee that way in front of customers. You pull them aside . I could see the hurt in her eyes . They were so full of embarrassment. The lady was in tears while walking out of the restaurant. Telling the person on the phone as she exited the parking lot that she was hungry from not eating in days and that her grandfather was in the hospital dying . And how she still managed to come to work n put on a smile . Crying about how hungry she was and would have to sleep on an empty stomach for a second night. By the time they got my order right and I got back outside she was gone . I told her in the lobby I seen everything n she did her best . Don't worry. I want be eating there for a while . This same manager always have a problem when you bring them back an order that they need to correct. I come to this location every 3 days . They're always rude when they make a mistake. But this lady is always smiling and going out her way to help at the window. It had me to start coming every other day insteadof every 3 . Your customers service stanks. I want go there anymore. Went through the drive through around 10:30 am on 3/22/2025 to pick up my mobile order and was told at the first window that they were out of the large orange juice that I ordered and if I wanted to get a hi-c fountain drink. The large orange juice is $3.29 so I knew the fountain drink would be cheaper. I asked is there not a price difference? I was told by the lady at the window and I quote “don’t worry about the price difference”. I thought cool I’m not worried about a couple dollars that’s fine gimmie the hi-c since this McDonald’s is always good. I get to the window and I’m handed my drinks. As I’m getting my drinks handed to me i request for some ketchup and jelly with my order. After a while they come with my food. She handed me my food platters literally sideways. no syrup for my pancakes, no ketchup, no jelly. No big deal… I park my car wait in line to request my condiments that I asked for in the first place no big deal. I GET HOME AND MY FREAKING PANCAKES ARE SO HARD I CANT EVEN CUT INTO THEM with my fork. They tasted stale and old. The worst experience I’ve had at this place for sure. I would drive past a good 4 McDonald’s to hit this one up from Durham. I live in chapel hill now and frequent them more but this is the first time I get breakfast at the drive through and won’t be headed...
