A good friend of mine invited me to the cardio kickboxing classes back in May. At the time I felt physically and mentally out of shape, was struggling with my own motivation, and really only thought of the offer as something fun to try out. Three months later I've found myself waking up early and eager to head to these classes, get in a great sweat, and feel energized enough for the rest of the day.
I've gotten to work with all three of the Cardio Kickboxing coaches so far, who all each have their own unique orientation and focus towards instructing class. Read moreI would definitely recommend anyone to check it out. Although the workout is inspired by boxing, it's widely enjoyed by people of various fitness levels and goals. Having a heavy bag to work on is a huge plus - I'll never want to go back to the "air kickboxing" that is usually offered by regular gyms. It is hard to get bored. We always learn some new moves and change the conditioning workout once in a while. Oh, and the class tend to be quite small(3-12 people as of recently) and we sometimes get not 1, but 3 trainers present. Quite a lot of personal attention and encouragement. Quite impossible to slack. In addition, this place is very clean and well maintained. The trainers are all very professional but also personable and funny.
