This was my second time here, and what an amazing experience. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I will absolutely be going back and highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice intimate dinner with a loved one or just a night out with family and friends. The ambiance was great.
Arrived for 715p dinner, and it was a short wait time. The hostess Destiny was very pleasant and attentive. My guy requested to sit in a booth table, and she was very accommodating. Our server Mike was the highlight of the evening. The first time we went here a few months ago, we had a great server too, Christina was super sweet and very helpful. However, this time, we got Mike as our server, and he was excellent entertainment and provided great recommendations. Mike was kind enough to take photos for us, made us laugh all night, was attentive, and made all the difference in a wonderful night out. Let's talk about the food now...oh man, the steak was fabulous! The first we had the 24oz bone in ribeye and 16oz prime ribeye both with the steakhouse classic, which comes with asparagus and truffle mash potatoes. The prime ribeye had way more flavor than the bone in ribeye, but they were both cooked to perfection medium well was tender and juicy. The truffle mash potatoes are great. I'm not a person that usually eats asparagus, but it was good... had a nice flavor and a little crunch, not too tender. She crab soup was amazing. Ceasar salads were tasty. This time around, I had to get the 16oz prime ribeye, and it was absolutely delicious yet again... great flavor, juicy, and perfect tenderness, no fat on it. My guy had the Lump Crab & Shrimp Pasta, and he can not stop talking about how delicious it was. He said that's going to be his dish every time we go here. The shrimps were jumbo and meaty, the sauce was everything..finger licking good. As recommended by our server, Mike, he said that dish contained a lot of protein, and he was absolutely right. Also had fried calamari for appetizer and the seasoning on that was great. It was lightly breaded and fried nicely. The dessert portion was fabulous. Last time, we tried the banana bread pudding, which was great, and this time, we tried the cheesecake, which was great it had the warm caramelized pineapples baked into it... so delicious. Both times I went with the chocolate cake, it was rich, creamy, and delicious each time. We ordered drinks too, the old fashion with a Charleston originated whisky was very nice and a blueberry vodka cocktail with mint, that was so good. This place is also BYOB so I brought my own wine each time. I like that they bring the ice bucket stand to the table and uncorked it for us. I cannot remember if they charge the uncork fee but it's worth it either way. The food consistency, flavors, atmosphere, drinks and customer service get 100% A+ from me. HIGHLY...
Read moreSo I put the reservation at 6:15 for my boyfriend’s birthday, a party of two. The gentleman that I initially encountered ( Spiky brown hair maybe in his mid-40s) Was really nice as far as greeting me. I informed him that I had a reservation of two at 6:15. I arrived there at 6:05 p.m. He assured me that he would get me seated and so I stood there for more than 8 minutes. A nice waitress by the name of Kathy, asked me had anybody greeted me. I told her the guy with the spiky hair that had a blue shirt on and gray pants on greeted me and told me he would get me seated, but he like disappeared and serving tables and from my observation he was currently in the back snacking on something; while I was standing there that whole entire time. She apologize and she said “ I will get you seated right away”, she said maybe he didn’t seat you because you were waiting on your other guest and I expressed to her that he should’ve said that initially rather than have me standing at the front of the restaurant waiting , she agreed. I appreciate her for being cognizant while waiting other tables. The gentleman that left me hanging didn’t bother to apologize or say anything to me about the situation, even though he brought over our appetizers, please keep in mind that the restaurant was not busy. There was literally no excuse for this, and I should’ve left. It would’ve literally taken less than a minute to let me know that he cannot seat me until the other party arrived. Total breakdown and lack of communication on his behalf. In other news: l will add is Keri ( l believe her name was) is a fantastic, helpful, waitress, that offered great suggestions on drinks and honest opinions on her favorite dishes there. Kathy and Keri were amazing, five stars to the both of them. The other gentleman he needs to work on his communication and being transparent, and its just that simple. Other than that, the food was great and the ladies too. The desserts were top tier; their pastry chef is...
Read moreFirst, let me start by saying everything we had was delicious. The steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. However there were some issues. First the menu on Google has not been updated and doesn't accurately reflect the choices or prices. The biggest issue we had was with the service. When we were seated, our server did not explain anything about the dining experience or offer any specials. It wasn't until I noticed other servers greeting their customers with enthusiasm and explaining the dining experience and offering specials really making their customers feel like they were welcome and in for a wonderful dining experience. I heard the other servers offer what sounded like an awesome crab and shrimp dip appetizer. I asked our server why she hadn't offered us that special appetizer. She said she didn't know about it until after we ordered. I asked her if she could bring us a small sample so we could try it. Because we had already ordered and finished our appetizers. She said that she would ask the chef, but I don't think she did. When our dinners came out, I asked our server about the dip, and she said the chef would not allow us to have a sample. Again, I'm not sure she asked. So for these reasons, I most likely won't be going back. When I dine at a high-end restaurant, I don't mind paying the cost, but i expect outstanding service, and i feel our server just did not live up to expectations. If she did ask the chef to send out a sample of the appetizer and he refused, then I put the some of the responsibility on him. Regardless the service did not live up to my...
