I went to Clerks twice in the last 2 days for different purposes and had reasonably good experiences each time.
Yesterday, I was looking for a spot to listen in on a 2-hour meeting. Over the course of the time I was there, I had 2 different drinks and a sandwich. The drinks were good and the sandwich (tomato and mozzarella) was quite good, though it wasn’t toasted quite long enough and had some cold spots. My one complaint both days is that the ordering process is really slow, so I spent more time waiting in line to order than I did waiting for my food or drinks. The wifi is through the hotel (The Emeline) and worked great after going through the registration process. The seating was comfortable and had good outlet access.
This morning, we stopped in to grab drinks and breakfast sandwiches. I was less enthused about the breakfast sandwiches. The biscuits the sandwiches came on were good but the egg was one of the egg patties that many places use to crank out breakfast sandwiches and it was not very good. I also paid the up charge to get the tomato jam, of which there was little on my sandwich.

The good: Great atmosphere that's classy without being offputting. Comfortable and unique seating and lighting, with lots of space (inside at least). The baristas were very friendly and the food was great. A hearty biscuit was the highlight of a fluffy breakfast sandwich, and the coffee was on par with the rest of the experience. It's nestled right in a premium hotel, so make sure to check out the amazing bathroom haha.
The not-so-good: A little pricey for a cafe, and the portion sizes aren't huge. If you're extra hungry and looking for a true southern breakfast, this ain't it. Not a huge menu, and not much outdoor seating (especially for COVID).
Food/drink: 8/10 Atmosphere:...
